“I am a graduate student enrolled in the Masters of Education for Instruction and Curriculum with a focus in secondary education. I started in January of 2016. So far it has been a sincere pleasure being a student here. With the exception of one professor, I have enjoyed all my professors as they are experts in their own respective fields. Many of them work in the field and are more than willing to help you succeed in your program and are very accessible when you need them. Classes are small and not everything on here is watered in "religion". At least not at the graduate level. Although I consider myself to be a Christian, Ive never felt out of place here with the small and super friendly community that is on campus. The community doesn't make it about religion, but more importantly, relationships. Although I take evening classes here and commute, the campus is quiet and very easy to navigate. In regard to the tuition rate, they are lower than my alma mater, Salem State University, which for a private college, is impressive in addition to it's education program which is ranked 14th out of 2,400 programs nationally by the National Council Teacher's Quality. For $325 a credit, I would do this experience again, especially for a regionally accredited college that even helps you find employment opportunities after you graduate as several teachers who graduated from this program are numerous high schools around me. Gordon has a top-tier quality program and they know and firmly believe in it, as the education programs are the ONLY programs in the graduate school at Gordon. Gordon is also ranked high for a safe campus. I easily see this with the number of police patrols and emergency phones placed strategically around the campus. I have absolutely no regrets going here.”
