“Jimmy's Equipment Service has been nothing but superb by every metric imaginable. Drive a 2018 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk that I outfitted with custom breaks with red powder coated callipers that was tripping the sensor and preventing the emergent break from functioning. At first I went to an authorised Jeep dealership which quoted me a 750 dollar repair quote with an additionally dumb 200 dollar diagnostic fee. (950 dollars total) When I brought it to Jimmy's service they quickly diagnosed for free and got right to work on fixing the problem that cost 20% of what the dealership would have stolen, I mean , charged me for the same fix. The fix was stellar and I dare say much better quality service than any other place I have hired. Please make sure you give a tip as these people are high quality old school mechanics with a heart of GOLD. 12/10!”
“I just recently had my brakes repaired,Paul and his staff are extremely knowledgeable,very helpful.,and a friendly atmosphere.I had made a few calls to other mechanics and I decided to have McGillis Automotive do the work,his price was extremely reasonable. He also repaired some small issues without charging me!!! “Over a decade ago, before they moved to their present location, my daughter was visiting from college. Her car had an unknown problem and she had to leave the next day. They fixed it, treated her with respect, did not feel like she was being taken advantage of, and the price was very reasonable. I have had my work and stickers done by them since then, both at the old and the new location. Recently my hybrid Honda needed a tune-up (the car died when I was out of town, it had a frozen gas line, I requested and paid for a diagnostic, the diagnosed work would have a 4-digit cost, I said I'd think about it and left). Xpress Lube diagnosed and did the work for around half the price, and my MPG increased about 5MPG ever since. I told them they don't charge enough for their work. If you want a sugar-coated explanation of what's wrong and a high price, go elsewhere. If you want a very honest and direct assessment, you will get that here. I prefer honest and direct.”
“I backed into a mailbox and had a dent/chip in my bumper along with some fine scratches on the trunk. F&F Auto was recommended to me by a friend. They promptly gave me a quote and got me in right away. The repair was super fast - and it looks as good as new.
I also asked last minute if they could do an inspection sticker on my car while it was there and they did exactly that. My family and I will be using F&F Auto from now on. Special thanks to Chris”
