Terrible pharmacy just like every other CVS in the area. I've used them all and you can be on hold for 45 minutes to an hour or stop in and wait 45 minutes in line to find out if a prescription is ready. The app is no help either and often gets it wrong. Many times there are only 2-3 people working there. These issues are not the pharmacists' fault however, it is that CVS underpays pharmacists and under staffs their locations. Three times I have received authorizations from my insurance company via snail mail while CVS tells me they're still waiting for approval from my insurance. When they double check, they all of a sudden have it. It's really pathetic!

AVOID THIS PHARMACY AT ALL COSTS!! Don't send your Rxs here. The pharmacy staff is HORRIBLE. They won't add any controlled prescriptions to their system when they get sent by your doctor.. which means you'll have to call or go in to ask them to fill it. Thing is- they REFUSE to answer the phone. I have literally been on hold for over an hour and driven to the Pharmacy while on hold to find no one in line. If they do answer the phone, it will be to tell you that there is a long wait... Then they will put you back on hold before you can say anything. Also, they constantly say that they are overwhelmed because of a holiday. But they always seem to have a holiday that they are referencing, whichever is closest to that day. It is the worst pharmacy by far that I have been to in New England. From the supporting staff to the main pharmacist- NO ONE is going to give you good customer service. All of them look overworked and annoyed, and you are going to leave feeling like you wasted a ton of your time unnecessarily just to be given bad customer service. And heavens forbid you ask for them to ring up a single item in addition to your medication when you check out... After you've been waiting 45 minutes to an hour to get your prescription... You will be told that they can't be bothered to ring up anything other than your prescription because they're so busy. Are you kidding me?? Tip for your employees: find a new job or get better at your current one. West Newton deserves better.

They are awful, rude, and seem to delight in torturing people. They take days to process critical medications but when you show up at their pick up counter they lie and promise you that your prescription can be picked up in 30 minutes. The only time they answer their phone is at 1:30 and that's to tell you that it's 1:30 and they take their lunch break at 1:30 so I'll call back later. And then they promptly hang up. Forget about trying to get through later.

This pharmacy is consistently disappointing. While standing there they told me to have my doctor who was on the phone with me call them, and then literally ignored the phone while it rang repeatedly while he did and I stood there. They left the phone ringing for twenty minutes while talking to their coworker that is leaving and saying "they will miss but they'll still be hearing from on the phone if they do the transfers." This is not only disrespectful to the customers but also to the prescribing doctors that follow the directions they give. My doctor spent 20+ minutes away from patients trying to get through. 3 other frustrated customers walked away as well today alone- one was an upset elderly man saying he did not know where the other location was, and they did not care or help him. I've never had a positive experience here and would not recommend using this cvs location. It just happened to be closest to my doctors office. The parking lot is big but somehow is always hard to find parking. There is always a long line and wait as well.

Worst pharmacy ever The staff is truly incompetent and unhelpful Went there 4 times to pick up medication and left empty handed because I wasn't in there system Enrolled in their system the day before

I consistently have bad experiences here. Meds rarely ready on time, the advice they provide about insurance coverage is wrong, long waits and an overall painful reminder about the shortcomings of our health care system. Run far. Run fast.

This review is for the pharmacy, specifically about the insanely long wait times in person and hold times on the phone. I wait at a minimum 45 minutes either way. The pharmacy manager Gabby Dall is ALWAYS rude, not even her coworkers like her. No one will approach her. She needs to work an overnight shift in a hospital where she has no interaction with other human beings. We can only thank goodness she's a pharmacist and not a doctor, because she lacks all ability to communicate professionally. It's only a reflection on the company as a whole to let this continue. Calls to corporate fall on deaf ears with zero response or return calls. Not surprisingly, this review is not the only one of its kind. Huge problem in West Newton! Maybe it's time to change to Keyes Pharmacy in Auburndale.

has everything a girl would need (buzzy bum/tush cush) 10/10 got loads of food allong side the obvs pharmacy items and water bottles - dont buy red vines tho they taste like medicine but makes sense cuz pharmacy

There is a difference between understaffed and incompetent. Unfortunately this pharmacy has gone so far under they should probably just close. Maybe it's management or the pharmacists being over worked but ultimately they had zero respect for individuals from what I experienced while waiting in their for over an hour yesterday and sitting on hold for 40 minutes today only to be told they want ME to call my doctor to confirm something.... ??? Keyes drugs is right up the street and insanely better. Just sayin'

Horrible customer service. I have called the pharmacy to check on a prescription for my 6 month old baby and was hung up on 3 times. This has happened multiple times. I will be switching my prescription to another location that can hopefully understand the urgency of a prescription and will have some respect for their patients.

This is the worst pharmacy experience that I've ever had to endure. I've been going to this CVS pharmacy for years due to convenience and have never had a pleasant experience. There are always MAX two people working, a line around the store for pick-ups, and don't even think about calling because you'll be on old for 3 hours. Not to mention, this pharmacy has messed up my prescription on multiple occasions. HORRIBLE.
