AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS. I would leave ZERO stars if that was an option.Yesterday (September 2023), my wife brought our beat-up, aging 2008 Toyota Prius in for an oil change. When I arrived to pick the car up, the counterperson said the price was $119.00. I protested and said that that was an outrageous price for an oil change, and the counterperson said that this was the standard price for a full synthetic oil change.I called the owner and asked him to explain. He said that my wife should have asked what type of oil we wanted to use. He acted as if it was ridiculous that we would want to use anything but top-of-the-line full synthetic oil -- in a car that itself is only worth roughly $3000.I said that it was totally irresponsible for him to not ask a customer what tier of oil to use in an oil change BEFORE performing the service, and I told him I did not think I should be responsible for the $119 (I said that $60 was a fair -- even high -- price for an oil change). He called me a "clown" and demanded that I pay the full price. I continued to disagree, and he finally yelled "Well, if you want to just take the car for free, fine!"So, I hung up, walked to the car, and drove away. My mobile rang a minute later, and it was Roy -- screaming expletives at me and threatening that he was going to call the police if I did not return to pay the $119. After even more time with him calling me names and telling me the entire thing was my fault, he finally and rudely agreed that I could pay $60. So I returned, did so, and drove away again. This service station is not run in an honest and decent way. Do not take your car here.

The guy that was working there this morning was very unprofessional. I never used their machine to put air in my tire before so I asked him for help he said no. So I figured it out on my own. However, when I was pulling into the pump to get gas he wanted to jump at the opportunity to pump my gas. So I declined, he got upset. I hope there was just a language barrier that’s the only thing that would make a little sense as to why his customer service skills were non existent, maybe he simply didn’t understand english very well. Anyway, you will get better service at other gas stations that are just a few seconds past this place. Good luck.

If you enjoy being taken Advantage of this place is for you. It went under new owner ship a couple years ago and I didn't know and I went to get my car inspected yesterday. The mechanic said that my car wouldn't pass because it needed front end work so I told him just give me a reject sticker and I'll take it to my mechanic. He then went on and on about how unsafe it was and how I couldn't drive out there and he needed to get new wheel bearings in a tire rod in there and so I said all right fine doesn't sound like a lot of work go ahead and call me when it's done. He then went to call me about three times saying well it needs this it needs that it needs this and so I was like OK. Then I went on the Yelp and saw all of the terrible reviews and knew I was getting scammed. First off if there was front end issues I would feel it in my car. Second of all the guy was really trying to scare me about driving away without all this work done so of course I believe them. But I was getting a weird feeling until I looked at all the reviews and saw that he does this to everybody and then he charges ridiculous prices like three times the price of what it should be. So this morning I knew I was going in for a fight, but I had no idea, he was charging me $3000 For two wheel bearings and one Tye rod, Stating it took eight hours to do the work. When I googled the price for parts and labor it came to two hours of labor and under $800 for parts so even if I'm rounding that up to 1000 his 3000 was ridiculous. I had to argue with him To get the bill down to $2000 so I can get my car back. Basically I got totally scammed. Do not go to this person no matter what. I found out later from my neighbors as We are all living close to this guy that he's known to be the biggest scam artist and con artist around. Do not go to Eastland motors unless you enjoy throwing your money away. The owner is a total safe and scum bag.

This was a shockingly expensive and overpriced place to go. Roy will give you a price estimate, and then the cost will be triple. He'll purposely exclude actual cost estimates and tack them on the bill at the end. He'll tell you he'll give you a "discount" and perform something like a brake repair for "just the cost of the parts" as a favor for doing business, but after careful review of my car and part costs even that is a lie, where he will still charge double. My estimated costs was 2k, and he charged me 3,800. He then told me he'd take off 200, but that's still 1,600 more than what the estimated price was, even when I buffered in labor costs, tax, etc.I'll never be going here again.

these Guys Not Only Double Charged A Friend Of Mine, But They Did His Engine Repair Poorly. And It Broke Because Of This. And They Refused To Repair The Engine That They Broke. Total And Absolute Crooks. And Incompetent Mechanics. He Had It Fixed Somewhere Else And They Agreed That The Damage Was Due To Bad Installation On The Timing Belt. The Gears Didn't Line Up. He's Going To Take Them To Small Claims Court. This Is The Wrong Place To Have Your Car Repaired.

Place is under new ownership. When asked for quote on services will try to avoid telling you amount until services are done and give you a ridiculous price or quote one price before starting work and charging double the price after. Total rip off. Avoid at all costs.

Good for gas and vehicle inspections. Don't come here needing work on your car unless you have lots of time and wiggle room in your budget.Example: once called to see if they had specific Mobile1 oil for my older car. They said yes, and even said "we're Subaru specialists," yet didn't know how to put my manual Subaru into reverse when I got there, and didn't even have the oil they confirmed 3 times they had for the car! After an hour of them fumbling around the car (it's not hard to change oil on a Subaru's flat-4 engine design, they then installed 2 little plastic push pins I'd supplied. For this service, they charged me $20. No good.

Under new ownership and the new owner uses terrible tactics to get you to stay. Lying, guilt, withholding information, they will do anything to price gauge you. Avoid this place like the plague

This place is absolutely the WORST. The new management is only there to scam you. I went in to change a belt and this guy ends up changing out the pulleys, new air filter with a full service on my intake system, then I get a call saying that he has put in 2400 dollars of work into the car. I look up the cost of the parts online and he was charging me 159.99 for mulitple parts that online costs 29.99 from Acura and that wasn't even including the labor fee. I ended up calling the police and as soon as they got there suddenly the price dropped to 1500. Avoid this place like the plague. It's a shame, used to be a great auto body shop, now it's a scammer station.

Went today with my mom to put air in our tire when we realized the tire had a hole in the sidewall that we couldn’t plug. I don’t remember his name but he offered to have one of his workers pick up a tire for us about 15 mins up the road and put it on. We were finished within 30 minutes.Great customer service and decent pricing! We will be back :)

Lots of pressured to get work done on car, even after multiple denials. Costs never explained until given the bill. Any good mechanic I’ve felt comfortable with explains costs (especially when high) and is sure to get consent before doing the work. This was not done.Unhappy with my experience even tho owner was nice. I felt taken advantage of at the end of the day. Had been going here to get inspections done and now won’t be returning. Would recommend others avoid.Even if work was necessary, I don’t appreciate the way costs were with held till the end. Shouldve gone to my regular guy, west cork in JP.Gotten work done there for years, never had a problem with my cars, always explains work when appropriate, never pushes to do anything unnecessary! Last time I went there he suggested I buy a part on my own rather than having them buy it and charge me for it, since the charge would be a lot higher that way.

This place charged me $80 to change one tire that I supplied. Wouldn't recommend their service to my worst enemy. Smiled at me when I told them they were overpriced. They should be burned down.

Everything you've read about this place that's negative is right. Whatever price Roy tells you double it that's the number. I'm not sure what happened after the old man left but I've been here a couple times and each time I've gone the quote over the phone has been way, way, way more than that on the invoice. They will say just about anything to get your car in the bay then come up with stuff to do and charge. Walk, no, run, sprint away fast...anyone but these guys...

But this service station is no longer a Citgo. The signs now say Mobil, but have no fear, the same friendly staff one would expect from a neighborhood shop. They even agreed to some excellent work on my Pontiac Solstice that even a G M dealership declined to tackle. I also just broke the all-time record for an annual & TNC inspection early Saturday morning.
