The representative got annoyed and hung up the phone on me because I asked him to repeat himself. His ability to converse on the phone needs much improvement! Please consider hiring people with customer service skills!

First off, our original reservation was canceled by the Springfield location the NIGHT BEFORE our pick up and sent to the W. Springfield location without confirmation. We waited over an hour for the woman to come back at 1:15pm in the afternoon until 2:40pm! This location rented us a COCKROACH infested truck that rained on the inside while we were driving and a rusted tow. Horrible experience driving from CT to FL, 24hrs like that and not finding out until it became dark and we were already in VA! I complained and submitted complaints to corporate and customer service! This location NEVER answers the phone and when we finally got to FL, the drop off location REFUSED to take the truck when we told them what happened. I am STILL dealing with the situation over a week later! NO ONE has contacted me back STILL! At this point, I am seeking legal counseling and will take it as far as I have to. This was TOTALLY unacceptable! I took video too and just screen shot from the video. I wish google would allow me to post the video footage! No one would EVER rent from Budget again! DISGUSTING!

awful no truck that we reserved 5 days prior.. Didn't seem to care much either! Save your self the trouble just go to Uhaul in westfield they are alwyas on their game!

Terrible customer service! Reserved a rental truck 1 week in advance and when I showed up 3 other people with reservations were waiting for trucks and they had no trucks available. They said all I could do was call customer service on a 1-800 number for help. I called and they said all they could do was call back in 15 min - 2 hours. Never heard back and had to scramble all morning to find another truck rental company on an already stressful moving day.

If you are about to embark on an important trip and flexibility isn't an option for you with regards to time, DON'T go with Budget. I planned my entire move around the time and date that I was to pick up and drop off my Budget truck. I booked a hotel, arranged time off work, and the same for my boyfriend who moved my furniture down with me. BAD DECISION. As I was about to pull into the dealership in Springfield, MA to pick up the truck that should've been there, I received a call saying that the truck was never dropped off by the previous customer. Or in other words, I had no truck to use. I called the 1-800 number and spent over an hour on the phone. I was told that I could either wait until an undetermined time when a truck would be available, or make the move with one of their competitors (UHAUL). The dealership never checked in with the customer who had "my" truck or got back to me on the status of "my" truck. More money for them, of course, in late fees. But I was left waiting for a day to find a truck in the area. Not only did I have to wait until the next morning for a truck, but I didn't find out that I actually HAD a truck until the next morning. My move was totally in limbo. Furthermore, my move being postponed one day lost me money and valuable time. Next time, I will either use another company or a different way to move.
