I went in to pick up a prescription at the Elm St CVS and waited approximately 10 minutes to get the to the pick up counter. Of course the prescription was not ready. The worker said it would be 15 minutes, so I left the line to shop. Then a minute later, received a text that the script was ready. When I went back there was a long line, I went to the front of the line. Then was told if script wasn't ready when you checked in the first time you have to wait in line again? If that is the case they need more than one incompetent women at the pick up counter. The script should have been ready the first time in line, but since it wasn't why should the customer on a time constraint have to wait again? The Elm St store needs to improve customer service. Very poor and slow service. Because of the poor service I will no longer be using CVS.

Too many programmed phone calls to patients with conflicting information, no way to clarify the messages as no one answers the phone when you are put on hold. Then when you appear you find out the script still isn't ready for pickup. Three times for one script.

Very convenient that they’re open 24 hours. But the pharmacy closes at midnight. Sign up for the coupons and you’ll save a lot of money.

I went in looking to use my 40% coupon on 10$ detergent. I sped i ally told the cashier this but instead he gave me 40% off the water I purchased instead ripping me off about 2-4$. Realizing he made the mistake he hid the receipt in my bag instead of trying to correct the issue. He also didn't apologize of try to make me aware of his mistake just decided it would be better to over charge me.

This is hands down the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. The list is so long I almost didn't want to write the review. First off, they will send you text messages that your prescription is ready and when you show up they say "it's not ready yet. Give us 15 minutes" and that happens more often than not. They are completely incompetent. I gave them my insurance card and I was told this is a medical card not a pharmacy card and I had to pay out of pocket. After the insurance company cleared it up that this WAS a pharmacy/medical card they were incompetent "Don't worry we will refund you" well I have yet to be refunded for THEIR mistake. If you want to get a hold of them, it is near impossible, I am not joking when I say it is usually a 20-25 minute phone call wait. After all of this, I didn't switch until they screwed me one last time. I went to go get my birth control, and I gave the name of the medication and they handed it to me. Only to realize when I got into my car that the name is different, and in fact it is not FDA approved for acne like the other generic brand was. Instead of 4 white pills, there was 7. So without opening the package I walked back and they said I can't be refunded and they ran out of my medication months ago and that's the closest substitute they have (I refill this medication every 24 days so that was a lie). So I then had to go to a different pharmacy to get my medication and because they charged my insurance I had to pay out of pocket $55. This place is a f****** s*** show. Total incompetence.

There isn't enough characters to list the problems I have had with CVS in general, not one particular store. Bottom line is this. Their computerized system is an abomination for the level of technology that is available today. It has caused me so much time and aggravation. They send you texts for things that are not ready. They tell you they transferred all your prescriptions to your new CVS, but keep texting with reminder from the old store and claim they can't shut them off. They continued to text me for 5 months to refill a prescription for a deceased pet, Best of all, after verifying 3,times there would be no problems with a transfer of of life dependent medication, they lost the prescription. Corporate is nearly impossible to reach, then when you finally get a person, they can't help. I don't know what pharmacy is better, I welcome comments with recommendations. I have multiple autoimmune disorders, including MS, spend a lot of time at Dr and subsequently the pharmacy and I need it to be as painless as possible.
