I recently lost my a/c on one of the hottest days of the year. I am a nurse and I had to be to work that day and nobody would even look at my car until I called Firestone. Christopher and Maricarmen along with the tech John took care of me with time to spare. Great customer service!

Chris was very straight forward and explained thing perfectly. I got a stone in my tire and brought it into them and they patch the tire while I ran errands on the donut. They did the work fast and called as soon as it was done.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Did the battery replacement in half the estimated time. Asked my questions about future Tire Replacement - when it would be required due to the age of the tires.

UPDATE: now that I paid for the lifetime alignment it seems it's harder than hell to get in to get an alignment I had an appointment at 11:00 they've taken two other vehicles since 11:00 now that is 11:30 they're pulling another one in I don't have time to wait if I show up at noon will they still take me I don't think so. This place is falling apart terribly.
Every time I come here for a vehicle inspection they told me there is way more stuff wrong with it and hand me a huge bill telling me that they can do the work. For instance: had a noise coming from underneath my truck I looked around under there and come to the conclusion that I had a bad u-joint I'm a drive shaft. After further research online in my own opinion I determined it was the U-joint. I'll bring my truck to Firestone in West Springfield to see if they see what I see they told me my drive shaft is bent and I need a whole new driveshaft and they can do it for 500 something dollars. I went to West Springfield Auto Parts about a $26 U-joint put it in my truck problem solved never had a problem again with that. Whenever there is anything wrong with my vehicle I do an inspection first and then bring it somewhere else to see if they see what I see Firestone is cheap but you can never get them to tell you what you are looking for it seems like they find all kinds of problems that ain't there I have a suggestion if you are looking for a front end inspection take it to Steve's alignment. Okay update again this is the third time I made an appointment at Firestone for 8:00 a.m. I was the only one in the place sat there till 8:30 still know what he got to my truck to do the alignment. I don't understand why I have to sit there for 30 minutes if nobody else is there do they not have the Manpower why schedule an appointment for 8:00 if you just going to make people sit there and wait with nobody else waiting. So yes I walked out again for the third time. Someone in management should do something about this. Or corporate somebody's got to do something that's ridiculous if nobody's in the building

My car had a shimmy and other shops could not figure it out what was causing it . For 10 bucks firestone completed a multi point inspection and figured it out . It needed a rack and pinion replacement . Car no longer has a shimmy.

They are not organized at all except when they give you the bill. I’ll pass on ever going back there.

Was so satisfied with my visit. Everything of my concern was taking care of and explained to me every step of the way. The guys were awesome!

Satisfaction - 7/10 - it appears that one of my concerns was not addressed. I expected either a new coolant reservoir or an explanation that it tested out ok. I've still got the same reservoir that I'm pretty sure does not hold under pressure, and I don't see that any pressure test was done, nor did the representative mention it.
Recommendation - I've been using Firestone for many years. It's not always perfect, but it's always good enough. Most importantly, it's the only place you can go where you can drive in whenever you need to and you'll probably have the car back tomorrow, if not today.

I was the only person in the waiting room and was forgotten. Scheduled a tire replacement and state inspection a week ahead of time. I waited from 4:30pm (I arrived early & checked in for my 5pm appointment) and left around 8pm without complaining or irritating staff during my wait. Was checked in by Robert who was kind, and told me it would be a total of 1.5-2 hours max of a wait. Robert left to go home shortly after this. Another staff member approached me around 6:30pm and wanted me to come back another day because "the state inspection machine was shut down for the day, but I'll do it first thing in the morning". Then, he (who does the state inspections) felt bad and turned the machine on and performed the state exam. Although I appreciate this gentleman's kindness to do the simple job that I scheduled in advance, the work around was annoying and I feel like I became an inconvenience. Anyone else would've approached the counter to figure out why their car hadn't even been touched for 2 hours, but being a nurse and working customer service jobs for years, I didn't want to come across as a "Karen" or annoying by asking when my scheduled car would even be glanced at.
Then, when I finally got into my car (8pm), my front tires were not inflated properly. Front driver wheel was hyperinflated to 44 PSI, and Front passenger was underinflated to 22 PSI. Normal for my tires is around 33 PSI. I pointed this out, and the tech said "oh just drive 1/4 mile and it'll be better". It's the same today (although now my car is reading 22 PSI on front driver, and 43 PSI on front passenger tire, so I'm sensing that there is now a new sensor issue). So I spent $1,000+ for it to not be done correctly the first time. I used to recommend this place, but no more.
The gentlemen working that night were kind, but appeared lazy and inattentive despite being the only person in the waiting room for 95%+ of the time that I was there.

Stay away from this place if you can! Don't have your vehicle inspected nor repaired here. Don't believe the 5* reviews that they write themselves, or ask their friends/pay people to write. The people are rude, dishonest and incompetent. They will also fail your inspection if a fly pitch on your vehicle and give you a quote for over $1000 to "fix' the problem. Quoted $150 to rewire license plate light, when the problem was fixed with a $3 light bulb from auto zone. They repeatedly find minor issues to fail your inspection, and immediately wants to give you an estimate to fix the issue. It is a conflict of interest to be allowed to do State inspections when you have a garage that does repairs. I will be filing a complaint with the RMV's Vehicle Safety and Compliance Services Department. And don't even bother to leave your AI generated response!
