“We are wrapping up our second year at Make Way for Ducklings, and we are so grateful for this preschool. Not only are the teachers kind and warm, but they are also experienced educators with strong backgrounds in Early Childhood Education who can meet the needs of a diverse student population so that all learners get what they need to thrive. The school uses an app for communication and billing, and all administration is timely, clear, and just what parents need. Kids are outside as often as possible, are doing a lot more than ABCs, and we are so proud of our son's growth and development, academically and social/emotionally, over the last two years. There are many sweet traditions and special events; you and your child really feel like you're part of a community at MakeWay. There is a flexible schedule to accommodate many household needs, and the value of cost/experience is well worth it. 10/10 would recommend MakeWay for preschool!”

“I really don’t have the words to thank my daughter’s teachers for being there for her daily (and me!!). As a first time parent it’s hard having to go back to work after being home with my daughter for so long. The only way I can get through a whole day of work is knowing that my daughter is safe, happy and cared for while with Ms. Nika & Ms. Kay (and all the other teachers who graciously welcome and help Allie each day). I know she’s getting exceptional care because I get a report each day! They tell me how many times her diaper gets changed & all the fun details of that diaper change. They report each time she eats and how much and even lets me know if she uses the toilet. Other than a written record, I know Allie is being well taken care of because of how happy she looks before she sees me walk through the door- THAT is everything to me. Also, a little bonus is that my girl gets her hair done at school which is super nice of the teachers! We appreciate you all at The Kids Place and I can’t say enough good things. We love you!”

The app is incredibly useful and lets me know how my son's day is going, and when I pick him up in the evening I always get a warm welcome from everyone!”

“I have been a member of the JCC for nearly 15 years as an adult and spent time there as a teenager with friends.
My husband and I use the workout facilities (I have a fantastic personal trainer , Doug , who keeps me on track as far as my fitness is concerned and I feel very comfortable with all facets of the fitness facilities) and have attended classes and other programs offered by the J.
Our adult daughter attended summer camp and met with her Brownie troop there.
All of our experiences have been very positive
The facilities were recently extensively remodeled and expanded (sadly as a result of a fairly catastrophic fire.) both in terms things such as state of the art changing rooms to the creation of meeting spaces designed to accommodate all manner of community meetings.
My interest in the functioning and work of the Springfield JCC has been so strong that when asked, I joined the Board of Directors . I am not Jewish. I can say very honestly that the JCC is founded in and functions with traditional Jewish values (values we all share) and also takes very seriously the COMMUNITY part of its name.
We are very fortunate to have the Springfield JCC in the greater Springfield community.
It is an asset and a great enhancement available to and with something for everyone.”

“I really cannot say a negative thing about our experience at Bright Horizons!We’ve been so happy (and still are) with everything from communication, the facility, and of course—how happy our 18 month old is! She is progressing developmentally as well! Someone is always willing to speak with you, in detail, regarding any concerns/questions you have whether it’s over the phone or when you’re there at drop-off/pick-up. We can’t wait for our next child to enroll in the future.”

“Our son started in the infant room and recently moved into the toddler room. Both spaces are supervised by remarkable teachers — caring, communicative, engaged. They provide frequent and timely updates through the KinderCare app — tons of photos which are a relief and a joy. Most importantly, the updates show the range of activities they implement through the curriculum, making sure that the children are developing appropriately for their age. Our child is growing up bilingual, and while most of the staff speaks only English, several of the teachers have gone out of their way to learn key words in another language to support our son’s development. This has made us feel respected and supported. One of the big benefits of this center is that they offer meals and snacks while at daycare. This has shaved off so much time from our daily routine. Very satisfied with our experience!”

“I had my twins in another daycare And for personal reasons I took them out. I placed them here and my kids are doing great I also had my two older girls in the same daycare years ago and I love that my twins are doing great. They don’t cry when I leave and my son is autistic and the staff works very well along side his therapist anything they recomend for him or any ideas the staff takes care of it. I couldn’t ask for a better daycare for my kids. All the staff are great and understanding and willing to help with anything they can plus is so Home like love it.”
