Walked in at 5 mins to noon the day after the holiday and they were closing the gate. I could hear them and asked if they could open because they should NOT close till noon! Another person walked in as well at 3 mins to close.

Busy place. Almost always a line.
I wish they would give the people getting passports clear instructions that they can walk away with, fill out the form, then come back to the counter instead of standing there clogging up the line and every time I hear the same thing “you have to fill everything out, yup you need to fill that out too” idk how a stranger needs to assist you in writing your personal information, it shouldn’t be that difficult. Otherwise the line seems to move quickly.

The robot during the phone call is horrendous. There is no need for a robot when I am calling an actual physical location’s number that is provided in the website! It really kills time and it does not ask the right questions. It’s almost like they don’t want you call them. It’s too much hurdles to pass just to ask a simple question to a real person! Terrible

I’m a long time customer of this office as I live nearby, but after this last visit I just can’t imagine coming back. There are 3 clerks I usually deal with when I come in and two of which I don’t even know how they can possibly still be employed due to their attitudes. The other clerk is so very helpful and I absolutely love when I get to work with her. She always takes the time to answer my questions while the other two would rather rush me out the door and have given me bad attitudes whenever I try to ask questions of clarification. Normally I try to deal with it because i mail a lot of things out but lately, I just can’t believe the things I’ve heard and seen even just things said between employees. I’ve never seen a more dysfunctional team that clearly don’t like working there or working together.
All I can say is to just avoid this office if you can. It’s truly not worth watching the staff harass each other and yell at each other while you wait for long periods of time for subpar service or the level of cattiness from more than half of the staff just for asking SIMPLE questions. Sorry the rest of us aren’t experts, that’s why we come in person to the post office to get things taken care of and be able to ask questions. If you don’t like that then you shouldn’t work in customer service period. You’ve made me feel incompetent for the last time and I will not be returning. This is a warning for others to see on top of the negative reviews that already exist.

Its the worst usps location in the area! Staff are not helpful and rude. I stopped going to this location anymore because of the staff.

I came here with something I needed mailed immediately and a prepaid shipping label. I had never done this before and was trying to navigate the process. I told the clerk this and was met with a tone and condescension because it was a Fedex label. My mistake, I honestly didn’t know I couldn’t do that at the USPS, I thought I just needed an envelope. And I was met with “this IS the Post Office” all with an attitude, all unnecessary, all with the point to make me feel stupid.
I was trying to mail out my title for my car that burnt to the ground a week ago. I have a 4 month old. My life is not her problem, but you never know what someone else may be going through. I would have appreciated some kindness in that moment. I’ll never go here again.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the clerk at USPS.
TODAY AGAIN ‼️
Not only did she consistently make mistakes while assisting customers, but her surly demeanor and obvious reluctance to help made the entire process unbearable.
It was evident that she dislikes her job, which reflected in her unprofessional behavior.
I would strongly advise against seeking assistance from this individual if you value efficient and courteous service.
Whenever I go there, in addition to the numerous mistakes and unhelpful demeanor, the clerk at USPS also displayed highly unprofessional behavior by making strange noises that clearly indicated extreme boredom and disdain for her job.
Such behavior not only reflects poorly on the individual but also on the entire USPS service.
It’s disappointing to encounter such lack of professionalism and enthusiasm in a customer service role.

I give the USPS a lot of business and always had a good experience with them but this one nope! The employee that handled my package was extremely rude and all I asked was for extra insurance on my package which is giving them extra money by the way! Because in my experience I’m always asked if I want extra insurance. Now I have a package that was supposed to be delivered today and is still sitting there since this morning! This location sucks!

It took more than an hour to receive the letter. An employee named Iris checked poorly and said that my letter was at another post office in Agawam. Although the notice says that it is here. I went there again, stood in line, waited for a long time while they looked for my letter, but they never found it. As a result, the letter was on Yelm Street. I wasted a lot of time and gas because of an employee who doesn’t do his job well!

My experience at this post office has been very pleasant, the wait is never long, and the staff are friendly and nice especially the young lady Iris, she is kind and gentle with a sweet smile that left me smiling aswell. Two thumps up for her and the world needs more people like her, God Bless her and this Post Office

Extremely rude. Always nice to get reprimanded by someone working the counter because "I'm paying with a $100 bill". Getting snotty attitude from the counter help for the whole duration of my transaction was a pleasurable experience. I was told to get a bank account, go look for change elsewhere and several other remarks, over and over again. Now I'm even more likely to go back with large bills, not my problem, run a business like a business, figure it out

One star is way too many. I would go to any other post office in the area. The head woman here is as nasty as they come. I listened to her treat an elderly man, who was just confused about what he was supposed to do and where he was supposed to go, so rudely, I couldn't believe she was speaking to him that way. Then she butted in to my conversation with the other employee and was rude to me. They have no signs telling you where to go or what to do, especially for passports, and then are rude and obnoxious when you don't do the right thing. They make handicapped people stand to the side with their canes and wait, with no concern for them at all. "It's their policy", is what I was told when I spoke to the post master. I went here instead of Springfield thinking because it was smaller it would be better, but I will definitely never be going back. Teresa
