“I have shopped here for years. I have no idea why I have never written a Yelp review of this shop. We have many mementos from this shop, dating back more than a decade. O this visit, we went in just to browse with little intent to buy. But we found a perfect memento of this trip, something we actually needed, a new wall clock for my husband's study. It has a topographic map of Woods Hole as the background clock face and has a frame of copper. It was not terribly expensive but is a novelty for our home and seems to be working well. The staff was incredibly informative about current goods from an artist we have bought in the past. There was some very pretty natural themed jewelry that in the past I probably would have purchased but probably do not have a real need now. I did pick up some note cards by a local artist as those are always useful. When we return to Woods Hole in the future we will undoubtedly return to this shop. We always do.”

The Edgartown location, is a larger space and has several different categories of jewelry, from Estate to contemporary. “The store owner was amazing. She was patient and knowledgeable about all the products carried. As the name states serenity, she seems to take pride in creating a serene environment. When another customer was talking so loudly on her phone (via speaker) that we could barely hear ourselves, she politely asked her to refrain from cellphone use. Even when the other customer became belligerent she handled the matter extremely professionally. I highly recommend this store. I could not have asked for better customer service.”

“I recently purchases two necklaces and three pairs of earrings from Sioux Eagle, and I LOVE them!! The jewelry is beautiful, well-made, and unique. And Sioux Eagle herself was very accommodating, considering that her showroom is NOT WHEELCHAIR-ACCESSIBLE...but she was happy to have me pull my vehicle right up to the front of the building on her lawn, and to bring items out to me. It was easy to make an appointment with her to view items, and her showroom was actually quite easy to find, given that it's located in a residential area on one of the back roads of West Tisbury (no longer on Main Street in Vineyard Haven, sadly). In the case of one necklace and earring set I purchased, they were made custom for me: I had admired one of the necklaces she had on display, but I prefer yellow gold to silver around my neck...so she remade the necklace with yellow-gold-filled chain, as per my request! She worked quickly, and on impulse, made matching earrings, which she presented to me as well...of course I bought them, too! Sioux Eagle's jewelry isn't cheap in price, but it's also not cheap in quality, and it's handmade by her with high-calibre stones and findings. If you're looking for a gift for yourself or a loved one who loves unique, feminine jewelry, this is a great place to shop!”
