St. Mary's CU is strictly a service for credit union members. They are governed by member rules, not the whimsies of a teller who is being recorded by cameras for all transactions. CUs offer great interest rates, easier acceptances on loans, better returns, free checks & checking, overdraft forgiveness, & lets you keep more of what you deposit, all for a one time $5 charge to join as a member. Public banks can't compete. Fees are a large part of public bank profits. The lure of changing a large bill for someone off the street may seem friendlier, but over the long run, public banks will vaccuum more than $5 out of your wallet & do it with a smile.

Really great people work here. I have great experiences with all the tellers. Today 4/28/23 the experience I had was top notch. I always get professional polite treatment from ALL of the staff here. The underwriting department has also been super professional, respectful, and knowledgeable in my past experiences here. These employees should get raises. Any customers that go out of their way to be mean to these guys are unhinged.

I had an amazing experience working with both Alexea and Clarisa at the Westboro branch today. The two of them were so dedicated to helping me get a check cleared and did everything they could to help me meet a deadline. St. Marys you are lucky to have them and they always have the customers best interests in mind. Keep up the great work. You have a very satisfied customer.

I will start by saying Karen Beaupre was extremely pleasant very helpful and made me feel very at ease during my loan application process which took only about 20 minutes and done Karen was extremely professional and st Mary’s credit union should be proud to have her as a service manager and a representative at the Westboro branch Karen is a very professional and valuable employee

Took an auto loan through Saint Mary's because their rates were great, and they came recommended by family. I was not let down! The staff was friendly and always remembered me. The bank was always clean, and felt like a "real" bank rather than a big impersonal corporate chain with little staff and industrial-looking ads. I will continue to do business with Saint Mary's because they offer the amenities of a big multi-national (convenient ATMs, good online service, etc) with the personal service and feel of a good local bank.

I have an auto loan with st Mary’s. I lost both my jobs due to Corona. So I applied for unemployment and a deferment which I sent twice to st Mary’ to ensure they received it. They still hit my credit up as if I was late with my payment during covid!!! I called to check In and a rep named Dawn answered. I told her wanted to make a payment and check in on my deferment application. She was so condescending and rude for no apparent reason. I was simply trying to ensure my account was up to date. She told me they never received my deferment application. I have email proof it was sent on multiple occasions. Dawn really made me feel horrible as if I was trying lie. I had to wait 8 wks for unemployment to come in. It caused my delay totally! Instead of supporting me during the pandemic they made me feel like Horrible and hit my credit up which I have worked so hard to rebuild.If you are going to get a car loan think twice before choosing St Mary’s Credit Union. There customer service is horrible. There are multiple people managing your account and no internal communication between them. Tara Adams
