I am a new customer and had a difficult time reaching a person to order propane as a new customer. The automated call center is substandard. When I finally reached a customer service representative to open an account and get my gas delivered, the bill came with the prior owner's name. It also had a late service charge. Again, I had to deal with the automated call center before I could talk to a real person to straighten out my account.

I have fuel assistance I've called and called and it still says I have a balance all the people I have talked to do not seem to know what they r doing and Noone is in the same page its extremely frustrating

until this year that company was OK, this year it started to disappoint me, they made deliveries where was written ,,start at 20 % and finish at 80%" but really was more 20% and less 80%! ....When I called them and tell that in my tank you not delivered until 80% but 75% and I have a proof, I did a picture after your delivery. They told ,,sorry we will return money for 5% to your account" .it pass more weeks and they haven't sent or returned anything...when i called them they don't know, why it happened .......other situations was when my husband can't delete online account and call them and told that I moved and cancel please this account, ok next 10 work days we will send you confirmation ....after some weeks they made automatic delivery with my husband name again!

Horrible experience all the time since I switched to Amerigas on an offer mailed to me 2 years ago. Consistently over charged and never credited with the right over paid balances, non english speaking untrained customer service staff since Amerigas closed the local Customer Service Offices. I am switching back to my old company asap. Also, I've been given deliveries I did not concent to which has prevented me from switching companies.!!!

Very poor. Person did not answer my questions. Was clearly reading from a prompted answer. Kept saying the same line over and over.

Only negative experience is I needed to explain my unique situation how I manage my deliveries on my own so I shouldn't be charged with all other fees. Last time I think I was understood so hopefully won't need to call again. Persons I talked to on the phone were very helpful and nice by the way. Good job..

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE - DON'T USE THEMWe had Amerigas upon moving into our home and had no issues UNTIL ....somehow we made only a partial payment to a bill but we were completely unaware. We did automatic delivery but not auto-pay. We continued to make our payments for over a year, not thinking anything was wrong. Suddenly they threaten to stop delivering because of no payment. After hours on the phone with multiple representatives whom I could not clearly understand due thick accents and shotty phone reception, turns out, the partial payment lead to continued partial payments and LATE payments for over a year because when we would pay, part of that payment would go to the previous deliveries payment, resulting in consistent partial payments in every delivery afterwards that were considered "late". NOT ONCE were we notified of any "late payments" or the culmination of hundreds of dollars in late payment fees. Of course this threat of cancellation of delivery came in late November so there was a sense of urgency. We made over a $600 payment to get filled and then switched to Pioneer Valley Propane. PV Propane charges less than half of what Amerigas charges AND there are NO silly extra fees like Amerigas has. Go with Pioneer!!!

The delivery truck came and did not ring bell for check and left locking the tank. On call back I was on hold for 20 mins with no resolution and then called back with someone telling me that they can unlock on the 23 rd June. This company is worst do not dig. Up with them you will be stuck !!

Horrible customer service. My family had been a customer for more than 20 years and when we bought the property from the family we stayed with Amerigas, close to 20 years ago. I am so disgusted and disappointed with the service we received when we had a recent emergency need. We ran out of gas and called for an emergency delivery. We agreed to pay an extra $200 for delivery within 24 hours. We called back 24 hrs later asking where they were and were told we did not get delivery due to not paying the $200 up front (which they did not ask for). We were then told it was really $300 for a 24 hr delivery and $200 for 24-48 hrs. On hold multiple times for almost an hour. End result we cancelled our account and told them to take their tank. So clueless about customer service that they asked why we were cancelling. Not the way yo treat a long time customer when there have an emergency need. They also had the nerve to say we wouldn't be having this issue if we ordered when the tank was at 25%! No kidding, we obviously realize that and based on that were willing to pay the emergency delivery fee. Must be nice for that customer service associate to be perfect and never make a mistake. Don't buy from Amerigas! Go with a company with real CUSTOMER SERVICE.
