If you don’t have a store at a location anymore, you should remove your name from the plaza, instead of making me expensive waste gas coming to a store that doesn’t exist. This is literally the most basic store function: Existing where you say you exist should be a given?

Superior service, knowledgeable staff who take time with their customers, better value than the big chains. When I think, home product needs, I think Aubuchon. This is where my Hardware, plumbing, paints, dog food, flowers, centerpieces, house hold needs are met! Why waste your precious time waiting for service? Aubuchon salespeople come up to you and ask, “How can I help you today”. Gee, what more can you ask for?

Breaks my heart that after working at local stores for years and moving 1400 miles away I am no longer able to place an online order unless I can pick it up at a "local" store. Yes, I can get it at a competitor who I know here... but I want to buy from MY HARDWARE store.

Helpful & friendly staff always there with a smile. It's nice to not have to wonder aimlessly around the store trying to find what you need.

Yelp Challenge 2015. 153/365 I was disappointed when ordering online there are zero security measures in place to ensure the card holder is the actual person ordering. I have never heard of this place before until it showed up on my bank statement. Someone decided to place an order here 2000 miles away from me using my credit card, an fake email addy and no phone number buying something I would never buy, then shipped it a 1000 miles away to somebody else, who does not even exist. When I noticed the charge it had already been shipped and delivered, left at the door of the imaginary person. Imagine that. Now the order has gone upstairs to their fruad department, but it is to late since they already received the package. It is not like they are going to send UPS back there to retrieve the package. Although, if I lived there, I would make a visit to their house myself. With some catfishing I found their 411 on my own, since Aubuchon did not have it. I have their real phone number and real names if Aubuchon would like their money back to cover the stuff they purchased with my card. But to the person who did this, careful Karma is coming for you. #647

This past November, 2014, my brother and I went in together to purchase a $1,599. pelpro pellet stove from the Orange, Ma location. This pellet stove has never worked right from the day it was installed. We've been given different "reasons" why the stove wasn't working correctly. "Bad motherboard" (took 3 weeks to replace that), "chimney cap needs to be removed" (it was) and a "bad convection fan". Still waiting for that to be delivered. It has been one month since we were notified by an employee that the convection fan was going to be ordered. . Last week I went online and found the Aubuchon Hardware Headquarters address and email. I sent them a detailed email about our experience and asked them to please choose among the following options: 1. Take the stove back and refund our money 2. Fix the stove so it works correctly 3 or replace this pellet stove with a comparable model. No one there has responded to my email. Last night I resent it to headquarters, this time tagging it as highest priority and am still waiting for any kind of a response from any head honcho there. This pellet stove is still under full store warranty and we have been good customers. There is no reason for Aubuchon to be ignoring our complaint. We planned to renovate our home this summer and were going to purchase supplies from Aubuchon. Now, after this experience, we will go elsewhere and may end up having to take legal action against Aubuchon, as well. .

February 2013 by Layton C.
Ordered parts that I was having trouble finding locally. They had a good selection of materials and shipping was also reasonable. I ordered the ABS pipes on the 20th of February. I got a notification that a UPS label was created for them on the 25th. On the evening of the 26th I get a notification that the package has been picked up and the estimated delivery is three days later on the 1st...Honestly...9 Days to fulfill an Order???? It isn't a total disaster, but I received parts from England....yes the UK, faster than these guys. I Ordered them the same day and they arrived within 6 days via Royal Post. Aubuchon and Hardware.com need to improve their logistics and shipping functions. Way too long to get what I needed.
