Second year filing taxes here. Our appt. was immediately before my in-laws, their taxes were filed and returned that same week. Timko never communicated an extended wait time, however after a few calls, the taxes were finally filed over 4 weeks later. The paperwork we received and signed off on for the return was not what we received from the state or federal - it was thousands less! I tried to call and speak to Chantel but she only responded once with an email and no explanation. It appears that she made a mistake filing our dependents but didnt have the courtesy to tell us. Additionally, we had asked questions regarding my newly opened business that she told us she would get back to us on but never did.

Nick is my CPA here and before selling my commercial rental properties Nick helped me come up with a great plan to save on all those capital gain taxes that I would have had to otherwise pay. We decided to do a 1031 exchange into DST's (Delaware Statutory Trusts). Most people are not familiar but the short version is that you could take the proceeds from the sale of your commercial properties and buy shares of say a 300 apartment complex, a self storage facility, a senior living complex etc. All these DST's are managed by a sponsor and you become hands off everything with no responsibilities at all. You simply get a check sent to your bank account each month. Filing the tax returns for these DST's are pretty complex and will however require an experienced high level CPA and Nick is the right person IMO. For example my 2 tax returns combined were over 300 pages long but well worth it IMO. Disclaimer: I am not a professional advisor or tax consultant nor do I recommend anyone buy into any DST but it was a great option for myself saving all those capital gain taxes. Anyone interested would have to get prepared well BEFORE the sale of their properties or you will not qualify for the 1031 exchange to the best of my knowledge. The proceeds from the sale of your properties would get wired to a QI (qualified Intermediary) right at the closing. It is not very complicated at all but has to be done right in order to qualify for the 1031 exchange is my point. I highly recommend this company for all your tax related business.

Great place to get your taxes done, never have any issues. I have only been in once since last year just to drop my paperwork off. With all the rush of tax season I walked in to sign my papers and they knew who I was. I was impressed.

Local PTA group needed help with taxes. Everyone is polite, professional, and friendly. Nick is patient, kind and very thorough. Prices are affordable for our small fundraising group. It makes things so much easier for us coming to Nick.

Great firm. I have a small plumbing company, they do my payroll and tax return. Very reasonable prices, and the are always available if I have a question.
