“I love this floor cloth. And the owner, Daren was so nice to work with. Even though it was custom made to fit my space, it arrived more quickly than I expected and Daren was very communicative and helpful!!”
“The Paper Mouse is a fun little stationery store. It’s fun to stop by occasionally to pick up something I haven’t seen before. They have all sorts of cards, stamps, drawing supplies, and general stationery-related gifts.
Parking is ok — just typical street parking. But once you get inside the shop, you get a good idea of what a whimsical place it is.
I went once, when they had a stamp demo event, and they let me keep the little page with the stamps. Events can get pretty crowded, so if you’re going just to shop, try to stop by on a non-event day.”
“The Dedham Exchange is simply the BEST! Literally something for everyone here….from Simon Pearce to the cutest baby gifts around. My one stop shop! And the volunteers are so helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.”

“Anime Zakka is a nice store located near the end of Newbury Street, close to Uniqlo and Muji. It is below ground, leading you into a place to be immersed by anime and Japanese pop culture.
I enjoyed browsing and wandering around the store, as there were many products I’ve never heard of or seen. I found Tomica cars, a product I’ve never seen in Boston before but know many car collectors may enjoy looking at. I also found many stuffed animals I never knew existed for products I like, such as Miffy.
The only downside is the products I did know were overpriced. I am a big fan of collecting lottery items, and they were nearly double the price at the store compared to what I could buy it for at online retailers.”

“Kolbo is the most beautifully curated Judaica shop I have visited in the U.S. the team has great taste and a keen eye. This is not your bubbie’s Judaica shop. The stores is full of light and offers a combination of modern and traditions items, from kiddish cups to katubahs. Also a great collection of Jewish art and jewelry. Great vibe. Highly recommend.”
“Five Crows in Natick is a beautiful shop showcasing an incredible range of ceramic artists, each with their own distinct style and voice. The diversity of the work is impressive, from functional pottery to more artistic pieces, and everything feels thoughtfully curated.
Beyond ceramics, there’s also a great mix of handmade art and gifts, making it an excellent stop for unique, locally made finds in the MetroWest Boston area. A wonderful place to support artists and discover something truly special!”

Unique, beautiful, fun, gifts at a reasonable price ranging from houseware to bags and jewelry; good for Father's Days, Mother's Day, housewarming, birthday, baby showers and any other gift-giving occasion!I also did the decoupage shell making class (as a birthday gift for my sister). It was a fun and unique way to spend a Sunday. And if you haven't seen the decoupage shells that Hilary makes, they are beautiful! I loved getting to make them ourselves.Hilary -- the store owner -- is fantastic! She is creative and friendly and makes a lot of the items herself.”

I was particularly charmed by the selection of dishes and bowls – each one felt like a little piece of art, perfect for adding character to any table. The handmade cards are equally impressive, offering thoughtful and artistic alternatives to mass-produced options. And the artwork! It spans a lovely range of styles, showcasing local talent and making it easy to find something that resonates with you.
But what really caught my eye were the whimsical handmade soap flowers. They're almost too pretty to use, a testament to the creativity that fills this shop.
Beyond the incredible inventory, the owner is truly what makes Imagine Jax Gifts special. She's incredibly helpful and genuinely passionate about her products. I was looking for a specific type of candle and asked if a particular one was vegan. Without hesitation, she went above and beyond, checking the ingredients and even calling the supplier to ensure she gave me an accurate answer. That level of dedication and customer service is rare and truly appreciated.
