“A beautiful makeover of the beloved but tired original store. Now bright, spacious well-stocked aisles. A larger fresh produce section and inviting deli and prepared foods. Same long hours, a great evolution of a Waban mainstay.”
“I ordered catered food for a party. My experience with Roche Bros Millis catering from my former company was great. This time no exception. You get - genuine, helpful, experienced people who can advise you, really generous amount of food, well cooked, in easy to open boxes with reheating instructions. Food was such high quality. Grilled turkey tips are awesome. The bacon cheddar tater tots are supersized and folks loved them. I had cornbread left over and toasted pieces to a crispy crust - yum. Dependable and high quality.”
“I use their delivery service for a family member frequently.. the shopper's communication is perfect and accuracy is 90%! I rely on them and they always come through.. thank you!!”
“The only place I go for my meat when I’m in Boston, I have never had a problem with their meet quick service, my only problem is parking can be a problem especially the weekends.”
“Walking into this grocery store is like stepping into a well-organized haven of freshness, variety, and friendliness. Whether you’re doing a quick midweek run or a full stock-up for the family, this store makes the experience easy and even enjoyable. The layout is clean and intuitive, with clear signage that helps you find everything from fresh produce to international spices without any confusion.
One of the highlights is the produce section — vibrant fruits, crisp greens, and vegetables that actually look and feel fresh. It’s clear that the store prioritizes quality over quantity, and the turnover seems fast, which means nothing sits on the shelf too long. The meat and dairy sections are equally well-maintained, with clearly labeled expiration dates and helpful staff ready to assist if you need a special cut or recommendation.
What really makes this store stand out is the diverse selection. You’ll find everything from pantry staples to niche products you usually only see in specialty shops. Whether it’s organic, gluten-free, international ingredients, or local brands, there’s something for every lifestyle and dietary need.
The staff is exceptionally courteous and knowledgeable. Even when it’s busy, there’s a sense of calm and efficiency that makes checkout smooth. They’re happy to answer questions, help you find items, or even suggest cooking ideas.
Prices are competitive, and they frequently run promotions or offer loyalty discounts, which is a nice bonus for regular shoppers.
In short, this grocery store is more than just a place to shop — it’s a reliable, welcoming part of the community. You walk out with more than just bags of food; you leave feeling satisfied, supported, and confident in the quality of your purchases. A truly refreshing shopping experience from start to finish!”
“It an Eastern European (Russian, Ukrainian, Polish...) food store with a wide variety of groceries, meats, dairy, bakery, breads, vines and spirits...It is relatively expensive. There is a similar store in Cambridge Street in Brookline, and I like it more.”

“Charlie the pharmacist, who performed my recent Phizer injection, was excellent. wonderful, laid-back personality. I wish to attract more like-minded individuals to my business. I firmly advise you to visit the Foxboro location; it will brighten your day and give you peace of mind that he will fill your prescription expertly.”
“Wollaston's Market is a convenience store and deli on the Northeastern University campus, and it functions as the kind of place that becomes a daily habit for students and staff in the surrounding area. The store covers the basics you would expect from a campus market, drinks, snacks, groceries, and a small pharmacy and beauty section, and does so in a space that is clean and well organized.
The deli is the reason most people make a specific trip rather than just stopping in out of convenience. The sandwich menu runs to around fifty options, which is a serious selection for a campus deli, and the quality across the board is consistent. The bread options include choices like the asiago bagel that elevate what would otherwise be a standard build. Pricing on the sandwiches sits around eight to ten dollars, which is reasonable for the area and the portion size, and the breakfast sandwich selection in the mornings is a reliable start to the day.
Outside of the deli the pricing on grocery items runs higher than what you would pay at a full-sized supermarket, which is the standard campus convenience store trade-off. For emergency grocery runs or drinks and snacks it is practical, but for a regular grocery shop the prices add up in a way that makes it worth planning a trip to a larger store for the bulk of your shopping.”
“So glad to have this place in the neighborhood! Has a lot of basic groceries (milk, eggs, cereal, etc) and then a ton of unique pantry items and prepared meals / desserts. So fun to walk around in!”
“Good market place with everything fresh vegetables, chicken, meat, fish, a lot of variety of groceries, good service, the only thing you have to buy is the bags or you can bring to save.”

“Normally I go to the self-service station, but today I went straight to the checkout because there was no line. The young woman who helped me was very friendly—I think her name was A’NYI F. The place is always clean and very well organized!”
“I found my favorite childhood snack at El Platanero, so this deserves a 5 star review.
Staff was super helpful when we asked for specific information, and whenever we encountered staff members they greeted us.
We found a lot of Dominican products we miss from home. Some prices are higher than other grocery stores, but we will definitely be back for specific household items.
Try not to need to use restroom while here, restrooms don’t lock, your privacy will rely on a sign on door asking to knock before entering.”
“First time shopping at Donelan’s the other day and I was really impressed. Everyone was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in, and the prepared foods were excellent. You can tell they care about quality and customer service. So glad I stopped in — definitely coming back.”

“Price is unbeatable! It’s a great place to buy vegetables, fruits, nuts, milk, eggs and salmon. If you’re planning to stock up, definitely grab a cart. I usually just pick up a bag’s worth and carry it to the parking lot since I don’t like returning shopping cart.”
“There's nothing I need that I don't find there. If your feeling nostalgic about having a taste from your childhood back home (motherland) that's the place to go. From snacks, drinks to all the ingredients to make that soul home meal! Even the smell is enough to treat that homesick symptoms. ???”
“Their prices are a bit high, but their meat and fish selections are top quality. Their produce is always the very best quality. I usually find their sale items are a good value.”
“Happy market have some of the best deals on food and some of the best authentic urban food. You can buy stop by and try some of the empanadas and fried pork is delicious.”
“This market really changed since bought by new owners. For a neighborhood store, you can’t beat it. It’s so nice and clean, they always have everything I need, even things I wouldn’t expect them to have! Great place. I live next door so who can complain. ?”
“It's great for Ukrainian, and Russian food, which I love. Great variety in cakes, all of which are delicious and I highly recommend. The Deli is packed full of smoked treats and pickled fish. I highly recommend the syrnyka and the birch juice. Don't expect anything from the service though, they don't seem particularly enthused to interact.”
“I have always felt like I am home in here. From freshly cut halal meat section to grocery area and especially stockings people are very nice and helpful. You will definitely find what you need here. Strongly recommended place. Store manager is great when it comes to customer care. She is always above and beyond.”
“I am at this Norwood store almost every day. I do have one complaint though about the owner of the Stop & Shop property though. Huge pot hole when you are leaving the parking lot onto Sumner St and did damage to my 2018 Camry. It cost me over $800 to fix and can't get the owner to contact me. Going to try the Town Hall records to see if they can tell me who owns the property. I will still continue to go to Norwood Stop and Shop but i will be avoiding the pot hole. I am not the only customer that has complained about it and they are still not doing anything to fix it :-(”
“Good amount of gluten free foods
They are clearly marked and separated. Easy in and out, decent prices. All About the Base pizza base is a little more expensive than I'm used to.”
“I especially appreciate the customer service in this store. The cashiers are valuable reassuring necessary assets that sets Roche Bros apart from their competitors. Bravo ? ? ? ? ? ?”
