Kind of strange to be writing a review for the post office, but after reading the bad reviews for the Dedham post office, I went ahead and made my way to the Westwood post office.
I thought the woman behind the counter was extremely patient as I tried to figure out the best way to send my three different tax-related documents -– some that needed certified with return receipt, others that did not. Apparently the type of envelope that you buy can determine the way it’s mailed, and some envelopes end up costing more than others because of that.
In the end, I was able to get everything mailed, get the return receipts I needed, and she never made me feel rushed or stupid. It was also five minutes before closing time, so I give her a lot of kudos for that too.

I’m a new resident in the area and I came to this post office today to return two packages to Bloomingdales. I said a cheerful good morning when I entered and received no response from “Bill.” I asked for his help and he merely looked at me. I decided to leave nearly immediately because I felt so put off by the blatant rudeness. Perhaps if I wasn’t a black woman I would’ve received friendly helpful service. I’ll never go to this post office again which is unfortunate as it is my local office.

Not a positive one, I have purchased some items on Ebay, my address is readable, this is a second case that on the tracking info, shows a very weird situation, addresses unknown, but on the top of the tracking my address it is very clear, this situation is annoying cause I have to go the USPS and ask for f they have my packages and they refer me to the Norwood office to see if they have it and hasn't been returned to the seller, I don't think that they could be considered a good USPS service center, if they are not be able to bring my package to my mailbox,sorry guys I don't like this situation but I have to say it someone it is not doing their job properly, this is why 1 star, how that's possible UNKNOWN ADDRESSE...........
