They didn't have the car I registered for. The agent explained nothing about the vehicle I was given. No front plate. When I dropped the car off a man came in and said he had been to 3 hertz stores before getting what he registered for. Not impressed

I would be VERY careful of the charges this location puts on your receipt/rental record. I was charged for an additional coverage that I was not consulted about, did not ask for and did not need seeing as I rented through AAA (without adding any additional coverage to the rental) AND have my own car insurance. It is almost impossible to get this charged fixed through contacting the location or call center via phone as they make it almost impossible to talk live with a person who will adjust it. (Seems like the location knows this is the case and takes advantage of customers knowing it will be difficult to get the charges adjusted). I have been a consistent Hertz customer in the past and am very disappointed with the customer service especially as they have great deals from AAA. This experience has left a very sour taste in my mouth with both the company and location in Weymouth. BEAWARE if you book!

Idk Who Owns This Place And Who’s Running It But It’s Crazy When You Call Them They Don’t Pick Up The Phone I Go There In Person And They Purposely Don't Answer The Phone Literally Watch It Ring unacceptable

Wanted to give a shoutout to Sam for excellent customer service. I came in after the branch had technically closed (I didn't check the hours) and he was there working late. He could have turned me away, but helped me get a car instead. All they had left was electric vehicles, which I was unfamiliar with. He took the time to explain the charging process to me and how to look up charging stations. Thanks for the help and patience!!

Guarantee this place overcharges you and pockets the $. First I get charged for insurance I didn’t need. Came back the next day to dispute it and I get told the only guy who can help me is the one who put it on, Sam, who isn’t there. Come back Monday to return the car (which by the way was not what I wanted, not all that clean, and was given to me at less than half a tank). He takes off the insurance, then I realize he charged me $20 something saying I returned the car at even less than they gave it to me at, which 1) absolutely not true 2) they’d never know cause no one went out to look at the car when I returned it. Emailed the customer service; waiting on a response. No idea how this place is still operational given all these terrible reviews.

Sammy made my experience a personal nightmare. Insurance set everything up, but it was possible to get the car because no one answered the phone. Finally obtained car, but now I have to return it and get a ride to the collision center. There’s no way to call, so I have to drive in. I go in and ask for a ride to pick up my car from collision center, Sammy says he’s the only one there. I ask if he will be calling a Lyft or taxi and he laughs in my face. I said okay, I’ll call corporate once again and then he got a cleaner to drive me. Here’s the kicker…. 1 week later, Sammy just called me asking if I returned the rental.AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

Pretty terrible customer service here. They must get the bulk of their money with a deal from an insurance company because I can't see anyone putting up with the incompetence here and paying for it themselves.They charged a 50 dollar fee for the rental through the insurance company and then the actual charge was 88 dollars - 38 dollars of which they claimed was "taxes".Asked for an itemized receipt to check this 38 dollars in taxes and of course the itemized receipt says something completely different.And none of these brainiacs working here could adequately explain the fee.Wouldn't surprise me if these guys aren't doing some additional charge and then just pocketing the cash.Just a slimy rental place all around. No one looked professional in the least and the lobby was also filthy.

I will not return. I've been a loyal customer to this location for over a year. I've always been helped with care, kindness and sincerity. Employees have listened to my needs and matched vehicles perfectly to what I need - making my trips to my child's college drop-off & pick-up FLAWLESS. I have taken the time to answer lengthy customer satisfaction surveys to make sure they get raving reviews. I'm moving my child back to school this week & I headed straight to HERTZ for a spacious vehicle. Long story, short...Sam will have me not returning to that location. His personality and attitude towards me was as if I was a bother to his entire day. It takes a lot for me to get upset. Even the other employees looked concerned when I walked out of there. I'm disappointed.

Horrible. Long time Hertz customer and have rented from Hertz globally. This place was the worst!!! The Hertz center was not open on Sat., multiple customers left stranded. Hertz customer support was not able to find an equivalent vehicle.

Terrible service. Does not have vehicles booked and alternate offered stunk like weed so we had to wait 3 more days. On second time visiting, car was supposed to be returned and cleaned at 10:30, then promised to us at 11:30 but still not ready an hour later.

This is by far the worst and most unethical car rental location ever. I would’ve never chosen them but was in an accident and where my insurance sent me but I will be escalating my case so they don’t send any other insured here. They are impossible to get a hold of never answering their phone. They are 35 min from me so I’m not going to drive there to speak to someone nor should I have to. They continuously charge my credit card they have on file without authorization as everything goes through insurance. I am so beyond with this location, do not rent here.

This is literally the most stressful and worst experience I’ve ever had with a rental company after a part was back ordered and my insurance stopped paying after 45 days hertz even after charging me 1600 and me trying to pay to extend it they threatened to re possess the car reported it stolen etc they legit are horrible at everything I would never recommend

I wished I read the reviews before getting a rental here . First red flag is they provide a courtesy ride to the location of your catchment area. The guy really put off the impression that he did not want to pick me up even though their location is the closest, but he told me on the phone to hold on and will call me back to see if he can . 1 hour later he’s outside my house no warning or call back to let me know that he could pick me up so I had to rush out. I asked if he was the person I spoke to about the courtesy pick up who never called meBack and he stated no. Turns out he lied to me because when we got to the office I explained what happened to the person helping us at the desk and asked if it was him ( I knew it wasn’t because of his accent ). He said no there’s only 2 of us here and it must’ve been the person who picked me up. Second red flag is There is no voicemail to leave a message and no one ever answers the phone at the direct location . I have tried calling for the past week for questions and info to extend my rental. Before , Sam did answer and he was helpful when I got a hold of him I will say that and he was friendly in person . But now The prices I was originally quoted to extend do not math up at all now that it’s returned. Because of work I had to do it after hours ( I recommend against it since, now I still can’t get a hold of anyone ). I haven’t received an emailed receipt for a break down or anything. I recommend taking a picture of the dashboard with the gas in before leaving because mine was little under half so I brought it back the same way. Car was also not clean when picking it up. Update: I finallyReached someone after calling like 20 times in one day no exaggeration , and asked why the amount was significantly different fromWhat I was quoted to extend. The person stated it may have been a security deposit. I explained that I asked in multiple ways to ensure that it was the total price quoted at the end of the rental and not a deposit . They lied and I felt it was a way to make money. I will never rent from them or this location again. And to finally get my receipt I had to call customer service.
