Service is disappointing at this location. I was a customer for over 30 years with the same savings account. It was under several different bank names through the years after mergers, but was the same account number and never had any problems.
I started investing my children's savings in CDs going back 10 or so years. We don't have much, but any savings is helpful for the kids. I preferred long term CDs, so I didn't have to worry about renewing them, but after their first 5 year term ran out, the best rates were 2-3 years.
I renewed their CDs more than once. One of them was under the $1000 minimum and I was told because I was existing customer that they would waive the minimum. I thought that was nice, but I also felt that it was not my fault that their minimums increased. I have been with these banks for many years. (This happened under Rockland Trust)
The last time I went to renew, they told me that the one CD should never been allowed. I told them that they told me I was an existing customer and had been for year. They told me that it didn't matter and that I needed to put up the difference or take money elsewhere.
So, I did. Closed all the accounts and switched over to Ally. I couldn't be happier with the move. No minimums on CDs, so I can open new ones whenever I want and combine the funds when their maturities sync. It has been great. I will NEVER go back to Rockland Trust ever again.
Additionally, every time I had to renew a CD, it was this long process and the teller or manager would roll their eyes like it was the biggest inconvenience for them. As if I wanted to come down there every 12-36 months to do something I could do online.

Got there today at the drive through around 9:04 am didn't leave the drive through to go inside until around 920 wondering why they didn't do my deposit ( two people where working the counter while one was just walking around . Yeah I was pissed and yes I swore , been with rockland trust since 02 ... not sure I wanna stay there anymore . The lady said there was 20 people in front of me ... there was two and a third person walked in while I was there ... if you don't wanna do your job then quit the two tellers where working not the third person and all you have to do is look at the camera. They are locking online account for no reason and then when i called them - they told me to verify my personal details and then they told me i have to visit the branch, and i asked them whats the reason and they told me, they are not sure but i cant unlock my account over phone which is weird then why are you verifying details. and this branch is just for you if you have plenty of time. one of the worst decision to open in this bank. Moving to other bank with this worst experience.
My only question is why you locked the account- give reason and why are you giving online accounts in the first place if you want me to visit the branch each time and spend stupid amount of time in person at the branch.

I recently left Bank of America for Rockland Trust Bank at 104 Main Street in Weymouth. My first time walking in, I was greeted by Stephanie the assistant branch manager. She was friendly, energetic and made me feel more than welcomed. I looked at their business banking products and knew I had to switch there! My first time there wasn't a fluke! I met Jenna Graziano, the branch manager and her energy was the same! Not just her, the whole team was like this! It's rare to come across a business where everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to address your concerns. I highly recommend this location in particular as I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I primarily use Rockland Trust for business banking online, but on one occasion, I visited the Weymouth branch for assistance with my account. I was warmly greeted by Stephanie Connell, who made me feel incredibly welcome from the moment I walked in. She was not only friendly but also extremely knowledgeable, answering all of my questions with ease and providing clear guidance on the next steps. Now, whenever I need in-person assistance, I go out of my way to visit the Weymouth branch specifically to see Stephanie—her positivity always brightens my day!

Stephanie at Weymouth Rockland Trust is the best..I drive 3 towns to see her she's been very very helpful. I have a rockland trust next to my house but i choose to still come here.Helped me numerous times when starting my business. Still taking care of me now.If you want a bank that goes above and beyond this is the place.

The staff are always pleasant and greet you promptly after walking in. You get the same at the drive-thru, a pleasant greeting and prompt service. I really like doing business here at Rockland Trust, Weymouth; it's like I'm visiting with good friends.
