Every time I try to give this Shaw’s another chance, I walk away disappointed. The self-checkout machines are always acting up, and the staff doesn’t seem eager to help. The deli counter takes forever, and there’s often only one person working it. The store feels outdated and not very well maintained. With so many other options nearby, it’s hard to justify coming back here anymore.

This Shaw’s is okay for quick grocery trips, but it’s hit or miss. Sometimes the produce and deli items are great, and other times they look like they’ve been sitting out too long. The store is usually clean, but the layout can be confusing, and they often run low on popular items. The staff are polite but not overly friendly. It’s fine if you just need a few things, but I wouldn’t rely on it for a full shopping trip every week.

Just moved to Weymouth from East Boston and when I say I’m highly disappointed in the quality of food that I have received from this location. I have placed two online orders for food and both times I have received expired food. The first time was bacon which I bought on July 10 and it was expiring July 11 the second time on August 12 I got crab legs that smelled like ammonia. I’m not sure if the online order crew are just looking to fill their orders and not looking at expiration dates and taking good judgment calls. If it doesn’t smell right I would not sell it. Hopefully, this post will open up 2 of their 5 senses sight and smell

Great sales and I go 6am and get 50% ribe eye or NY strip for sell by today's and buy what's available put in freezer or cook that day or next. The cereals Post grapefruits, cheerios or Kashi seem every other month go on sale and I got Post grapenut 2 for $5 last month and bought 8 boxes. General mills cereals like evey other month same thing $1.49 a box and i load up. I got yesterday blueberries, strawberries, blackberries buy 2 get one free mix n match.
I got one weeks worth of food most part healthy. Cottage cheese pineapple, the berries, 4 rib eye and 2 NYstrips 50% off, the cereals, chicken and more. I saved a total of $47 bucks my total was $60 for one week one person. Shaws has good sales and it would of been $107 so average i spend a month on food is $300 because I know when they sales are and going in the 6AM when it first opens
and only Wednesdays is when most stores restock shelfs and meats go on sale at 50% the most at this Shaws but overall certain days are better than other days and I find 6am is best for choices. Shaws has stocked shelves and this one is always clean.

I was shopping at shaws weymouth. They were announcing only 1 hour til closing. Plenty of time. I got to the from no cashier only self check out. I left my cart and left the store. I know self check out is easy its not that im too stupid to do it. I was a cashier at a different shaws for many years . I got paid to do that. I refuse to ring up mu own order unless I get a discount so I went to a different store ans had a bagger and cashier. I was still home with groceries put away before 10 when they closed. With a hour till closing they should have at least one register with a cashier open. There was another customer also looking for the open register. There were qualified employees standing around talking that have rung up my order in the past so it was not that they didn't have an employee to do it. I'm sure one of them had to put my groceries back.
