“I was not too sure about trading my jeer grand Cherokee in for one with less miles. In sales I dealt with David S. Nice guy.! The day I went to pick up the car, everything seemed to be fine. Drove off the lot. Got a few miles out and all of a sudden engine light came on! Drove back to Lia in Northampton very upset. Then I met Joseph Debuc service guy. I’m pretty sure he saw I was SO disappointed. My anxiety was high! Joe gave me a loaner to use until they could find what was wrong. It took a few days but thanks to Dave S and Joe all was fixed. And Dave S was my salesman. Keeping my fingers crossed that all is fixed, thanks to Joe D keeping my cat!”
“Absolutely love everyone at Indie Auto. I recently moved to the area, and both wanted and needed a new mechanic(s) that I could actually TRUST to work on my Volvo. Extremely happy with everything about my experience.
I brought my 2001 V70 T5 to them with the intent to stop the many oil leaks, which they did very successfully. What I already asked was a somewhat large job, but they replaced many other worn and leaking parts while already in there. Even being sent pictures of the car as it was worked on with updates was awesome. Very good quality work, Greg and Brian know EVERYTHING Volvo & Saab. My new go-to, I can't recommend everyone at Indie Auto more! 10/10.”

“David and the employees at his shop provide excellent service at fair and honest prices. They do not cut corners and are thorough and efficient. I had a "quick" DIY that turned into an ugly headache, as they often do with older cars in the northeast.
Their shop was able to take the car in the next day, and resolved the issue for less labor than anticipated by the afternoon. These guys really are professionals! Broken bolts, northeast cars, they know how to get the job done correctly the first time without having to worry!
And again, the great work was done efficiently without adding unnecessary cost, very honest pricing compared to some other area mechanics. This will be my new go-to autoshop in the Northampton area. 6 stars if I could!!”

“At O’Briens I got an oil change, an exhaust replacement and rear suspension enhancement for my Toyota Tacoma. This summer, parts came in piecemeal but I could wait for everything and come in once. I towed my trailer before the work and thought I was going to die on the hills to NY. After the rear end work and exhaust replacement, I was king of the road, man. No hesitation, steady ascent from here to Binghamton. A good reliable result for 16.5’ trailer towing. I came in to the next door business for my trailer and Todd was sure to check my ubolts for tightness without my request.
Charlie, the senior customer support dog, was extremely attentive while I waited.”

“Picking a shop to work on your car is intimidating for numerous reasons. I've taken my various ars to a few shops around the area over the years, and have settled on Ernie's as my go-to because they are honest, do a good job, and are reasonably priced. It's sadly hard to find a place where you can confidently say that but Ernie's makes me feel comfortable bringing my car to them.
They did a major repair on my truck last year. Their price was very fair. They did have an issue where the part they needed to order didn't come in, and I had to call again to ask about it. They were apologetic which is all you can ask for in that situation. When the part came in, they scheduled me immediately, and I got my car back the same day I dropped it off.
Today I brought my truck in for an issue, they diagnosed it and fixed it on the spot for a only a half hour fee which was a very pleasant surprise to say the least.”

They had never seen me or my old truck before; but they tackled a fairly extensive project on a rusty truck; and though I had to wait, it was mostly for parts to come in.
