Love shopping,like the variety, took some getting used to after renovations, only real complaint is that they charge 10 cents for paper bags because they did away with plastic, so make sure you bring your own bags.

Unfortunately spending time shopping here I usually find it ok and just buy what is on sale and reasonable. With the economy in turmoil This location does have some good sale items... But today looking for sales I found on several shelves especially in the refrigerated items that I found many items expired, some from even August! I chose to photo just one such item and hope that management really focus on removing expired foods like what I found. Other than that... customer service is most helpful!

It doesn't have a pharmacy and the produce has gone way down hill from rotting artichokes, broccoli, asparagus, peppers, onions, cucumbers, and summer squash on the shelves or nothing stocked. More often than not they are understaffed at peek hours and for some reason employees will be walking around noticing long lines and continue walking around aimlessly. Thank goodness they refund me for the products I've been able too return in a timely manner but so much more money wasted because time restraints getting back to the store too take advantage of the outlined satisfaction guarantee.

Did online order for pickup at store. Had to go back 3x in the same day bc they didn't pack (yet somehow did charge) missing items. They also called me that morning to advise they were running 45min behind (that was fine and they called).

My wife was mistreated and disrespected by the current staff the Stop&Shop in Whitman. Just because she wanted to use her personal check to pay for groceries in which she has been doing for many years. The cashier refused to except the check and told her it was no good. We went to the bank down the street and explained what happened at S&S and they said that the check was in good standing and there is nothing wrong with it. The products that are used and needed on a regular basis they have been out of for weeks . I know we are in a different situation but this is uncalled for !! I’m planning on going to a different market I’ll have to go outside my town but that will be they way of getting the groceries I need all at one place
