Very clean and great place, but the cashiers are so rude, I had one named Anna and she didn’t speak to me the whole time, I said hello and asked how her day was and she just said nothing and just sat there eating cake. It was very odd but not the first time the cashiers are very non-talkative, especially to older people. Otherwise the store is great!

Very clean, organized and the cashier will check you out quickly. I was surprised by the selection of spirits, particularly the mead. I'll make sure to choose this location as my primary shopping location.

My first time here and it was the cleanest and most well organized grocery store I've ever been to, especially as far as Big Y goes (the ones I've been to are kind of gross). It also had a lot more options than most Big Ys

I love this big y. It’s my favorite. Very clean, well stocked with my weekly items. Helpful staff , quick self check out station. Pharmacy, deli, pizza shop, bakery, plenty of ready to eat food for the 40 hr/ week not wanting to spend $15 for fast food on your lunch hour crowd. Salads, olive bar, sushi, seafood fresh and delicious. Can’t be be beat. My go to spot for takeout pizzas , and the cakes are delicious for birthdays, and the European layer cakes are a dupe for the La Fiorentina $60 cakes. There’s a Dining room next to pizza parlor. They carry Stonewall kitchen brand items, and also locally sourced bar soaps and essential oils.

Big y has everything.
Flowers, fast food, ready meals, pizza etc...
Then your normal staple items. All Big Y have very friendly people. That is the cutting edge. The people.
With so many alternatives out there. You go where you are comfortable 😀

This review is based on the bakery only. First, I LOVE big y. I am SO INCREDIBLY disappointed in this location. BIG Y… come on. You are so much better than this. I understand you can not accommodate everyone. I understand I should have placed an order. BUT. I needed a last minute cake that would feed 10. YES they had cakes in their case. THEY WERE ALL the saddest cakes I have ever seen. I would have taken more pictures if I could, but they were all imperfect in some way. Cracked, smudged, etc. I was desperate and needed a cake so I took one but at the toon Of $30 is it really too much to mask to take a freaking spatula and at least HIDE the crack? Can’t we fake it till we make it? And the only cake to feed 10 we have is a cheap tie dye cake? Nothing a little classier? This is not Big y. So frustrated that I had to pay full price for a cracked, imperfect cake that should have been on the clearance counter. This is not big y. And don’t give me the “we’re short staffed” crap because I have 2 sons looking for jobs that have applied multiple times and don’t even get a call back. This is NOT the Big y standards I used to work for.

I went in to order a fresh box of pizza—which has always been under $20—but the employee handed me a self‑serve box and I ended up being charged nearly $40 for eight slices at the register. When I tried to switch to the usual fresh box, the manager made me feel belittled and asked if I “ever even done that before?” Then, while I waited, I overheard another manager mocking me with coworkers behind the counter about charging extra for toppings. I felt disrespected, embarrassed, and treated like I didn’t know what I was doing. I shop at Big Y a lot and this was the WORST service I’ve had.
