This is a Hampden County staple. As a Wilbraham native, my siblings and I used to ride my bicycle with friends to Rice’s as kids to buy glass Coca Colas and penny candy. When they closed several years ago, it was a big hit for our community. But the new owners, who opened it back up a few years ago, have gone above and beyond to keep its classic charm while also innovating it as a business. You can still stop in for fresh fruit, baked goods, or a snack, but they now have a full menu with some of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Their ice cream is out of this world. And the vibe is top notch. The inside seating is placed right next to a fireplace, and they have plenty of Adirondack chairs and picnic tables outside for the warmer months. I hear they’re even starting to have live music in the summers.Fantastic classic made even better!Parking: They have a sizable parking lot, as well as options in the back and across the street with a church.Kid-friendliness: This establishment is not just kid friendly, it’s a place I’d encourage families to go to with their kids!

Best ice coffee I ever had. I got the caramel swirl with extra cream and the brew tasted so fresh.Needless to say, I won't be going to Dunkin anymore when I'm able to go here. There's tastes terrible compared to here even on a good day at DD.And the blueberry cheesecake muffin tops are to die for. OMG! Dietary restrictions: They have some Keto optionsKid-friendliness: Kids would love it here.

I discovered this place a little over a month ago and have been in here multiple times since for sandwiches and baked goods. They have some of the best prices around for sandwiches. I get the BLT on ciabatta a couple times a week. Really tasty food here and nice customer service. I will continue to shop at the small business and I highly recommend that others do too!

Slightly more expensive than an average bakery or cafe, but their quality of food and taste is beyond many places. With few frozen yogurt places this is top 1, their breakfast is delicious (ciabatta bread is brutally delicious), parking is decent, waiting time approximately 10 mins.

Breakfast sandwiches are awesome - and of course their famous muffin tops! Always friendly service too. Have many dairy/fruit/veggie items too - great local honey. Nice spaces for hanging out with family/friends both inside and out.

Delicious ice cream, ice cream is really a 4 star. It's homemade and delicious. There's a big variety including vegan options, soft serve, etc.Only 3 stars for the fruit inside. There was barely anything available. A few ears of corn, a few apples, tomatoes, onions and plums. They didn't look fantastic. Not what you would expect of a fruit farm. The store has sandwiches, pies and coffee available that people say are excellent.I'll definitely return for the ice cream.

Rice Fruit farm continues to disappointRice continues to disappoint and skate by on their name and the fact Wilbraham is a bit of a desert for good breakfast food. They have frequent problems with communication and quality of service - today in addition to the usual food is ready 15 minutes later than the time they actually tell you, our food wasn’t prepared according to what we ordered. If you make a phone order and the customer asks for a particular bagel, if you don’t have it just say so, they substituted my bagel with one I couldn’t even eat due to an allergy and didn’t even say anything.Personally I won’t be patronizing them anymore because I think it enables their poor service, the owner doesn’t care, I’ve witnessed him argue with frustrated customers who’s food was 20 minutes late and or just flat out not take accountability, a small apology goes a long way, but I guess for Rice, unearned legacy and lack of competition trump manners.

A wonderful throw back from the past!I've been here a few times I love it. The bakery items are to die for. Everything made in the facility. What a novelty to have a place like this still existing. They offer sandwiches and bagels with coffee and tea - iced and hot selections. My mocha coffee iced was wonderful. My grilled cheese was Classic and worth the money. I also bought as much as I could pastries and pies.Since I don't live near the area. I definitely want to make sure I have enough to bring home.Definitely, check it out!
