Rob the owner was great! Took care of me right away even though I am not a regular customer as I needed my glasses fixed. It was a bit complicated but he figured it out and did not charge despite all the work he did. A very large selection of frames too!

IF you decide to purchase glasses from this business you will not have access to your pupil distance measurements and the owner will make up and give you several BS reasons why. Reason 1 - The last time you purchased glasses here was 5 years ago. Those measurements are outdated. (I paid for those glasses and I own those #s. That's like telling me that my doctor doesn't have to release my medical history to me. BTW- I'm not stupid. Ask your Ophthalmologist, your pupil distance doesn't change) Reason 2 - Liability (Didn't ask him to put it in writing or sign off on the information) Reason 3 - Online optical shops are Butcher's (Didn't say I was going to order glasses online and even if I chose to, what business is it of yours?) Reason 4 - I'm in business to make $. (Agreed however being this uncooperative not only loses my business, but word of mouth travels fast).

Very poor customer service, I felt like I was a burden to the guy working there, never called me back as promised or at all, when I contacted him he sounded inpatient and rude. Was attempting to purchase high end Maui Jim Rx glasses ( full price without insurance if I had to) seemed to not want to be bothered. Must be nice to not need a $600-$800 sale.

My family and I have been going to the Spectacle Shoppe in Wilbraham for years! Robin is amazing. Very patient, helpful, goes above and beyond for each of his customers. If we've ever had a problem, it's no problem to him. We always receive excellent customer care. We would not go anywhere else! Plus it's a bonus trip to the Bread Shop next door?

Go anywhere else. I've been a loyal customer for roughly 9 years and Rob has never been particularly my favorite person to deal with there but today he lost my business after refusing to give me my full eyeglass prescription, which is illegal per MA state law. The former eye doctor, Dr. Danielson, was wonderful and such a pleasure. The current eye doctor is a nightmare. I was horrified at how rudely i was treated, how many times he lied to me, how hard he tried to NOT give me (a paid for out of my pocket) a copy of my own records and and the handwritten mess that is the record from my last visit. Which is full of contradictions to the previous visits and essentially contains a written temper tantrum because I dared to ask him very important questions about my eye health.I was talked down to, belittled, degraded, lied to, denied my lawful prescription, the list goes on and on, and that's just over the past two weeks.I'm deeply disappointed that I had to change my glowing review from just 4 years ago to this. Mary Ellen and the other gentleman that work there have always been wonderful and an absolute pleasure, but Dr. Mutlukan and Rob have ensured I will never go back.Update: I have not been back. I immediately found a new eye doctor who felt that it was evident in the medical records that the doctor had a personal bias toward me that caused him to exaggerate the description of my condition. My current doctor is a corneal specialist with a higher level of education and he's wonderful.

As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a stank of cigarettes. Very rude and poor customer service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

Went there the first time no one acknowledged myself or my mother, found out that the man that do the glasses was not there that day through another customer. How rude. Still didn't get the message, returned two days later and the woman was so rude , I am asking questions and she is engaging with another customer, felt like I wasn't welcome, even the guy that does the glasses was rude a rude atmosphere, and you think I would spend my money there . I won't step foot in there again , I will take my business elsewhere, I won't recommend that place .

I was so grateful to Dr Danielson when he was there and cried when he left. Returned the following year for my yearly check-up and after I received my glasses needed 2 adjustments. It took 1 1/2 hours for one of the adjustments. The receptionist (after Dr. Danielson's wife left) treated me like I was an Imbecile trying to tell me things that were not true. That was enough. Got my glasses, ordered my contacts some where else, never returned. I've read all the reviews and for thise people who were scammed out of their money, a letter or ohone call to the Attorney General's office may help you recover some of your cost but would also put this business on the Attorney General's radar.
