The Barn is a lovely restaurant. Our server, Pam, was wonderful and attentive including acknowledging a birthday in our party. I ordered the steak frites and it was good but not as hot as it should have been. Our mac and cheese seemed to be missing the panko crumbs but was still delicious. The sorbet and pineapple creme brulee that we shared at the table were both outstanding. We love the Williams Inn and will definitely be back.

The food was delicious, no complaints there at all. The place was very nice, a quiet night despite it being a little filled. Only problem is that it took quite a while for the food to come, i think we waited almost an hour which is a first. The iced tea wasn't quite good either but maybe that was on me because i wasn't specific enough by saying iced instead of sweet lol. But overall it was a very good night, id give the whole thing a 4.4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The ambiance and service were excellent. The food was above average, but not as good as we expected in a setting with this kind of upscale vibe. Good hotel food, not exceptional food.

The Barn is a great dining experience. The service was attentive without being pushy. The decor is very attractive and comfortable. Our cocktails were tasty as was the clam chowder and our entrees — steak frites and grilled salmon. Cooked perfectly. Too bad we had no room for dessert!

I love this place! Greg at the bar is terrific - lots of great recommendations wine and spirits. My short ribs were super flavorful, as was the Caesar salad. A post dinner drink in from of the fire completed a lovely evening.

We have now dined at The Barn Kitchen and Bar several times. Going on New Years eve is always a risk, to any restaurant. HOWEVER, the entire evening was delightful, from service to food. And the dining room's ambience can't be beat. This establishment's dining experience has improved significantly since opening, including a broader menu. The prix fixe New Years eve offerings were excellent, and it was great that they offered the standard menu as well. A special call out to the mushroom strudel app, which should become a staple. Paul, one of the managers, came over to our table and was very engaging, as was our Wait server. All in all, an excellent evening. The place is becoming one of our regulars. And the drinks are delicious.

Wonderful service, perfectly prepared meal, and a wonderful ambience/space. The menu had a good selection of dishes and also included GF/VG/V options. Would definitely return again the next time I'm in town.

Had lunch here yesterday and I really loved it. The food was really good and I was surprised at how reasonable - by today's standards!- the prices were. Our server was delightful and attentive without hovering or making us feel rushed.

The Williams Inn is an absolute GEM. Every Single Part of my experience here was awesome. YES, its pricey, but the cost absolutely matches the experience. This place is so relaxing and elegant without being stuffy. Wonderfully appointed rooms with very comfy beds. Lots of comfortable and cozy places to hang out in the lobby and outside. I honestly can not wait to stay here again, I"ll just have to start saving up now for next winter LOL.

Love this hotel. Had a great stay. Left my favorite belt and, two weeks later, Kelly followed up and found the belt. That is service! If you want a beautiful Inn next to the center of town this is your place.

The food was uniformly excellent, even though it ranged from mussels to burgers, and from vegan cauliflower to creme brulee. The waiter was also excellent, knowing when to zoom in to offer something and when to let us be. The prices were also low to middling, cocktails and mac-and-cheese each $15. We did have to have drinks as well as dinner in the dining room because the bar is not only (always) far too small but had its tables (including the open communal one??) reserved up.

As a gluten, vegan free diner, it is very difficult for me to eat out, especially at a high-end restaurant. The Barn exceeded my expectations in every possible way. The roasted cauliflower with chickpea Ragu was one of the best meals I've ever had in my 56 years. The service, atmosphere and wine selection continue to amplify our experience. Such a gem for Williamstown!

The food was delicious. Our waitress was friendly, professional, and efficient. The setting is lovely. The noise level was quiet so that we could easily converse with each other. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Food was pretty good but not worth the higher price points. The wait staff was friendly but mostly inattentive after we'd been served, instead focused on setting up empty tables for the next day's breakfast service. We were originally planning to order dessert, but by the time our server returned, we'd decided to just get the check & leave.

I'd say a slightly above-average overall experience, in a somewhat generic restaurant environment with a slightly corporate feel to it (tables slightly too large for intimate conversation, upholstered chairs and benches). The space is designed to look like a barn - but it is new construction. Friendly service.
