“Our first time here and was recommended to us as a place to try. We made a reservation for last seating of 8:30 and they were able to oblige. Driving up to the reataurant, we were amazed at a breadth of the place. Extremely upscale and charming. When we got seated, we were given a price fixed menu of $60...which we didn't know upfront. The wait staff mentioned we could sit at the bar to order a la carte and few minutes later, our waitress kindly explained to us and also allowed us the option of ordering a la carte at our table. That was extremely accommodating and a definite big plus in our eyes. My son got from the price fixed menu, of which he got pasta chicken broth soup to start as an appetizer. He enjoyed the aroma of the broth but thought that was just alright. He got the bistro steak medium rare which was cooked to perfection. It also came with some small potatoes which was cooked perfectly and had a good crunch to it. For dessert, he got the chocolate cake with one scoop of vanilla ice cream. The cake was stupendously large and moist. My wife and I shared the grilled zucchini for appetizer and it basically was four thinly sliced zucchini grilled and drizzled in some type of amazing sauce. That was extremely tasty. I had the bistro steak for my entree whereas my wife had the shrimp scampi. This dish typically come over a plate of pasta but they were able to satisfy my wife's request since she has gluten allergy and put it over a bed of salad. All in all, amazing food and fabulous decor. Plus, our waitress was super attentive, helpful, and also gave my son a free taste of a non-alcoholic drink. We very much appreciate the service and highly recommend this place.”

“The Barn is a lovely restaurant. Our server, Pam, was wonderful and attentive including acknowledging a birthday in our party. I ordered the steak frites and it was good but not as hot as it should have been. Our mac and cheese seemed to be missing the panko crumbs but was still delicious. The sorbet and pineapple creme brulee that we shared at the table were both outstanding. We love the Williams Inn and will definitely be back.”

“Hands down, as a not at all professional foodie, this was a top 5 dining experience I have ever had. We ordered all of the dishes to split among the 3 of us, and each of us left full and totally amazed at how delicious the food was! Every person who was there was kind and so welcoming. I cannot wait to go back!”

“When you need a little getaway, let this be your respite. Everything is so well designed , comfortable and inviting, yet completely unpretentious. The food is great, breakfast in bed looking at the river, listening to the perfectly curated playlist in your engineer stripe robe as the train rolls by! The drinks by the fire in the lodge, so cozy! From the well written field guide to the vintage post cards, you’ll be nostalgic for your childhood roadtrip vacations with your parents in the back of the ol station wagon, looking for those Tourists Welcome vacancy signs. The staff - super friendly and helpful , especially when we had to bump our res by one day. Already hoping to get back in the summer, just to enjoy the pool and get to do some more of the cool activities.Rooms: Well appointed, trendy, super comfortable, smells amazing, did I mention the heated floors ?Nearby activities: Mass MoCA , breweries, restaurants, nature”
