Although the staff are nice over the phone but deliveries are not flexible, they charge you a fair amount of money and they decide when to deliver, with 10 minutes heads up.

Saves you $$ on delivery. We live very close by and have a truck to transport any large items we purchase. We a have purchased a lot of furniture from Crate and Barrel so this is such a great option. They are very organized and we were in and out in less than 15 minutes.

We were supposed to have a king sized sofa bed delivered a week ago. The warehouse sent two delivery men and the sofa bed, and they told us it was too heavy for them to carry. They told us this sofa was usually delivered in two parts and the way this was packed it was impossible to lift. The delivery was re-scheduled for a week later. It was just delivered, again, not in two pieces. The delivery men refused to carry it up to the apartment (we have an elevator - no stairs). We again called both the warehouse and Crate and Barrel and so far we have not received any help with this. We have company coming tonight and will have to put them up in a hotel. In a week we have family coming and will have to put them up in a hotel. I'm very tempted to cancel the order and start again somewhere else. I would give the warehouse no stars except the delivery people are nice if you can speak Spanish, which I sort of can. Crate and Barrel must find a more reliable delivery service or they will lose sales.

It's fine... But I can't exactly give it 5 stars. Actually they were very nice there because my salesmen screwed up and didn't tell them when I was coming and they still got my chair set up for me...I just had to wait 5 minutes.

A great example of phenomenally rude customer service. I received a call (blocked number) about a delivery this morning and couldn't understand a word that was being said - I thought someone was asking me about a place called "Liberty tree" (aka delivery). When I asked what was being delivered the first rep didn't know and the second was so rude. She got on the phone saying "what do you want" as if I had called her not the other way around and then hung up on me telling me that if I wanted info on the delivery I needed to call the store. Except I ordered online...
