I have been to this location several times now between my previous car and the new rims I had delivered to this spot. They’re professional and proficient! The staff has always been nice to me and understanding when it comes to any thing I have needed while they’ve worked on my vehicles! Greg is outstanding at his job! not only is he very professional but he’s extremely knowledgeable and that’s huge in my book!
I also wanna quickly mention another employee whom stood out to me whos name was Mamadou , he was so polite and friendly that i will absolutely tell people to go there! When you’re at a place like this .. and you’re spending more money than you’d like to, it makes a huge difference when the person is friendly polite and just easy to deal with! Someone’s attitude really is contagious and I thank u for having a good one with me even later in the day before closing time too! Firestone offers roadside protection with their tiers that I absolutely recommend pursuing!! It’s has saved me not only lots of money and I really can’t say enough good things about this place! “We’ve been taking our cars to Alewife Automotive for almost 10 years, and I’m consistently impressed with their service and kindness. We’ve had everything done from inspections to tires to repairs. They are transparent and fair, and they never tack on surprise charges. A perfect example of this was I had taken a new car to get inspected with plates to a shop closer to our home, and not only were they kind of rude to me, but they wanted to charge me $20 to put plates on. I called George at Alewife and he said to come on over, they’ll take care of it all no charge. And this is something I’m used to with them—no charges to change out a bulb, top off fluids, etc. As a woman I’ve found that the stereotype is usually true with many shops, trying to get me to buy something I don’t need or up-charge me for something I wasn’t prepared for. It’s worth the slightly longer drive to get here for their service, I don’t know why I ever try to go anywhere else!”

“I had my tire repaired at the shop, and I’m very satisfied with their service and honesty. My car has over 12,000 miles and is due for a tire rotation. While the repair was being done, I asked if the rotation could also be completed at the same time. The repair was finished very quickly, and the technician came to tell me that a rotation wasn’t needed after measuring the tread on the tires. I was pleasantly surprised by their honesty—most shops wouldn’t do that nowadays. I highly recommend this shop!”

“Met Carmelo and Gus this morning when I took my 23 old truck for an inspection. I have had bad experience at other shops for simple inspections before. Not at Volsar, they were friendly, professional, and honest. I did all the work myself so I know my truck inside out and know nothing is wrong or need fixing. Volsar confirm nothing was needed besides the inspection sticker.
