“Best vet around!! They go above and beyond when caring for your pet. I took my dog Riley to them for the past 4 years and they always made her feel so loved when she was there. When she was scared, they gave her so many belly rubs and kind words that she always left with a wagging tail. They are also so patient with owners, making sure to answer all your questions and never rush you through an appointment. They also are extremely responsive via email and phone and typically have same day appointments for emergencies. Can’t recommend them enough”

“I love Shawsheen Animal Hospital! I’ve been going here for over 15 years with all of my dogs and I’ve always appreciated the compassion, patience, knowledge, and care that they provide. The staff is always welcoming whenever I go in with either of my dogs and their friendliness and service is unmatched. “I have a very high anxiety French bulldog who has been a patient of Linwood Animal Hospital since we first brought him home two years ago. All of my pets have been treated at Linwood. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they respond to emails and phone calls with a sense of urgency. They truly all love animals, it shows in how they interact with them. My guy can be a very difficult patient, no matter what they still treat him with the utmost care. Dr. V is The best!”

“I highly recommend Mill Brook. Dr. P is amazing.
One of my dogs just had an emergency and they were amazing. We called 15 minutes before close and they still told us to come in. They got to my dog right away and immediately went into action sedating her and taking care of her with such skill and compassion. The entire team that supports Dr P was exceptional from check in to check out. Charlotte was so well taken care of as was I and my daughter. I am so grateful for having such an amazing local resource without having to drive to Woburn to the emergency referral hospital.
I am a regular with Dr. P for physicals but this was my first emergency situation. It just was a reminder of how important highly educated local vets are for our community. It is increasing hard to keep a small practice open. Thank you to Dr. P for your leadership!”
“Very nice caring people work here , prices seem very high we only have hope that they know what they are doing. Two years ago after a number of tests we were convinced to have done our cat was diagnosed with terminal cancer, thankfully we didn't put her down as she's still a playful and somewhat angry cat. We have never had issues other than that one time as we're a little concerned that every time we bring a pet there they up sale services and tests and sometimes we hesitate going when our pets are having issues because of this, but unfortunately thats the way it goes.”
“Seen for emergent dog care and I would go back. The staff were all great. Vet explained the treatment plan and range of services we may need. Unfortunately one the service (ultrasound) needed the following day was not available that weekend, can't remember if it was just for that weekend but we were transfer to their sister hospital the next day. Pet emergency can be expensive, get pet insurance if you can afford it because some will cover costs.”
“Dr. Syed is a kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable veterinarian. He was very careful with examination and explanation for my dog’s symptoms and subsequent management. He was cautious not to over-investigate, which I very much appreciated, and was level-headed about decisions. He asked a clear and definitive history and was patient with hearing all of our concerns.
I would highly recommend him and this practice to all pet owners.”

“To start off with I have to say the doctors, vet techs, and door greeters are great. There is a lot of staff and a few I assume are administrative. The new office is very attractive. After reading some of the reviews I can see that some of the cons are unfair because in any practice of medicine there are protocols and to make a diagnosis you do need to perform test to rule out other probable causes and many people do not understand that. I brought my dog to the clinic and was satisfied with the care. I came only because it wasn't corporate, and the Middlesex Animal Hospital closed, and its great DMV referred me. I do believe the care is superior to corporate care BUT the costs are extremely high, but I guess if you want high end service you must pay high end prices. If you are a senior and on a fixed income this is not the place for you. To sum it up, docs, techs and door greeters are very friendly and caring. If you are on social security and a fixed income this place is not for you. I was lucky enough to return to my original vet because he reopened his practice, and he has an exceptional reputation around my area and pricing for those financially constrained is affordable.”

We would like to thank you and the entire staff of VCA Lynnfield for the wonderful treatment you have given our German Shepherd, Baer. We especially thank you for referring him to Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, where he underwent surgery for a blockage in his intestines (which turned out to be a missing sock!). Drs. Sanders and Frem at MVRH performed the successful surgery on February 2, 2026. We thought we might lose our Baer before he had surgery but everything went well, and he is recovering quickly and getting back to his normal self.
In addition, we would like to thank Sam at the Reception Desk, who is always so kind to Julie. When Baer has an appointment, Sam always assists her with getting Baer out of the car at appointment time and helps her get him into the car when leaving. Many thanks,
