Preschool Social Academy (PSA) is a Reggio-inspired forest school north of Boston, providing full-day education programs for preschoolers and toddlers. Founded 15 years ago in Winchester, it has grown from a single classroom to nearly 100 students. The school’s mission focuses on employing teachers that exceed industry standards, providing thoughtful materials, and committing to outdoor learning. Kindergarten readiness is essential, but the school also believes in having fun while learning. Reviews consistently highlight the outstanding and caring teachers who work harmoniously together and lead with compassion and understanding. Parents feel their children are welcomed with open arms, loved immensely, and are safe in the school’s care. The facility is clean, with plenty of time spent in the yard. Children thrive at PSA, often surprising parents with alphabet and math skills learned, and they build a strong foundation for elementary school while making great friends and coming home happy. Many families, grateful for the experience, return with younger siblings, noting that the main staff are still there and welcoming. While the schedule follows the local public school calendar, which may not work for every family, parents deeply appreciate the teachers and work around it. The thought and work put into the children’s activities is evident, exceeding expectations and providing a humbling and stellar experience for families.
I have such gratitude for the teachers of this school. They offer a wonderful preschool program in Winchester. Both of my kids loved and have thoroughly enjoyed their time at PSA! We feel very grateful that we have such a nice school nearby!

My son thrived at PSA in the last two years and often surprised us at home with alphabet and math skills that he learned at school. We appreciate what PSA has offered him tremendously!
