I discovered this pottery studio back in February and have completed two class series so far—one beginner and one intermediate. Both instructors were incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. I’ve learned so much and absolutely love this studio! I’ll definitely be back for more classes in the future.

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a place to meet new people and revisit an old hobby. I discovered Studio on the Common and started with the beginner’s class—best decision ever! I instantly fell in love with the studio; it quickly became a place where I felt truly comfortable and inspired. After completing both the beginner and intermediate classes over the past year, I’ve grown so much. Bel, the instructor, has been incredible—teaching me so much, helping me improve my skills, and consistently challenging me each week. If you're looking for pottery classes, I can’t recommend this studio enough!

I just finished my third pottery class and I can’t say enough great things about this studio! I was so grateful to have stumbled across it as I had trouble getting into other more well known studios in the Boston area. I went from completely clueless to making beautiful bowls, vases, mugs. Bel’s intermediate class was so much fun! She is a kind, supportive, talented teacher that will help you fulfill your pottery dreams. She goes above and beyond for students, catering to our individual needs and provide clear and careful instruction. Thank you studio on the common!

The pottery classes are wonderful. Instructors are responsive and always willing to work with you whatever your skill level. The atmosphere is easy and relaxing. A great space to forget stress and make fun objects. [note that my previous attempt at review blooped out in the middle].

This was an amazing class and introduction to this beautiful art - Professor Kiyomi taught us the history and technique of Shibori Indigo dying - and we had a lot of fun creating our masterpieces ! I would highly recommend this class and would take another ! Thank you Jean and Gail for your support ! Tara Kenney Grassey

My daughters began doing pottery classes here last winter. They enjoyed it so much that I began this past fall. The instructors have all been wonderful, the atmosphere is great and it has a cute small studio vibe. My younger daughter will start an art class this coming winter and she can't wait.

We have loved Studio on the Common in the past and they are very nice. However, I am severely disappointed in how they handled the wait list for classes. Only given two hours before the spot was given to someone else! And was previously told would have 24 hours. Looking for other places for art classes.

Such a wonderful camp! Our 5 year old had the best week and loved showing off his art at the art show on the last day. Miss Cherry was so kind!

I love everything about studio on the common! We have had birthday parties here that are amazing and so easy for the parents. The staff makes it so special and so fun. We also love their classes and summer camp. With an art background, we do a lot of crafts and art at home and I love that Studio on the Common does unexpected projects. They aren’t just painting and cutting they are creating very unique and exciting art pieces that you want to frame and keep forever. Would give them 10 stars if I could!

Sent my 6 year old daughter for half day art class. Not at all happy with the use of her time, the work she got back home for the steep prices they charged. Will be trashing what she got, terrible.

This was a great place to host a birthday party. Dani communicated all details prior to the event. During the party, she adapted the painting for the kids and added fun mixed media elements. She was engaged with them for the entire two hours and gave great, clear instructions. Everybody went home with a beautiful finished product and two kids even said it was the best birthday party ever! Thank you so much, Dani.

Bridal shower with decoupage oyster shells was fabulous! Dani, our instructor, was energetic, concise and very helpful. I couldn’t have been happier. We had 12 ladies but could have fit a couple more easily. We brought in our own food and bubbly. They had nice, clean navy blue table clothes on long tables. Plenty of space. Thanks to Studio on the Common for a perfect day!!
