I don’t usually leave reviews, but felt compelled to for Cal’s. After a rear end collision, I wasn’t sure who to go to for repairs. The first place I went was Cal’s bc it was close to work.
I can’t say enough about what a great job Cal’s did on my car. It looked amazing after the work; better than it had before the accident believe it or not. Steve and Lorraine were a great help and took care of everything. Work was done on time. They took care of everything including the return of my rental car.
Thank you everyone who was involved and great job!

Stressed after being rear-ended but they made process so easy. Exceptional work from repairs to cleaning interior of vehicle. My car looks better now then the day I got it at dealership!

I cannot thank them enough as my Mother's Car was being repaired and when it was finished they returned her car and her rental as she is 85 and does not drive in Winthrop. Wonderful, kind and caring people. My Mom also left her handicapped plate and glasses in the rental and they came all the way back to her home in Lynnfield. Amazing CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was extremely happy with the service, quality of work and how clean and gorgeous my car was when returned to me. Things were taken care of concerning the insurance and rental car, so it was no hassle for me. I would highly recommend Cal's Auto Body.

I cannot say enough good things about Cal's and Loraine in particular. Caring, helpful and excellent work. The best I have ever dealt with. I am up in NH and my daughter lives in Winthrop, MA and I felt like God sent me an angel named Loraine after my daughter's car accident. My daughter says the car looks brand new. I HIGHLY recommend Cal's to anyone needing body work. Truly the best!

Same-day service, but they replaced my terminal dead battery with an old, (wrong?) one that is also terminal 8 months later!
Over the summer of 2020 I found my car battery had not just died while I was working from home, but was terminal and needed to be replaced. I sitting in my car looking for a place to drive it while it still had charge from a jump, I found Cal's Auto just down the hill, who agreed to take my car and replace my battery same day, an excellent turnaround, even though I didn't need it same-day! However, it seems the battery they put in my car was old, didn't fit correctly, and is now also terminal 8 months later!
Also, the 2 times I was on-site in July 2020 nobody was wearing masks, and there was little to no active effort put into avoiding contact with customers or each other or maintaining safe social distancing even that far into the pandemic.
I've taken my car to Bolster Service Inc. for a replacement and other work and regret paying for my service here that desperate afternoon.
