“Bob at Central Auto is a throw back! I true gentleman who looks to help you and get you back on the road.I have had two instances where I brought my vehicle in (2010 Honda Ridgeline) for a quick fix and both times were a surprise! The first, he told me that he just needed to adjust something by my tie-rod, which was no charge. The second time, he did my front brakes which cost far under what I was quoted at two other places.I have brought my kids cars in for oil changes and the service and timing has been perfect each and every time!Definitely a 5-star!One more thing: please be sure to call before you drop your car so that Bob is able to get to it that same day! There is a key drop, if needed, as well!”

“Dan's Auto Repair shop has been my go-to place for a few years. Recently I took my 18 yrs old Rav4 there for brake pads and rotor replacement. Shortly after I returned to work, Jesse reached out via text message with details on the work and new parts needed. He also notified me some other issues revealed after the vehicle was lifted and wheels were taken off. Addressing these issues require specialized work that is not performed there. Jesse recommended a shop who is specialized in this type of work. It's always a pleasure when I take my cars there for service. The waiting room is nicely set up. Everyone there is friendly and accommodating. They do quality work to keep my cars in good shape. When the repair needed is out of their reach, they will recommend reputable specialists to ensure the work will be done properly. Dan's auto repair shop is like the primary doctor of my cars. I highly recommend them.”

“Gee, this is such a good shop. The guys are right on about every thing our two cars need and don't need, which is a definite moneysaver for us. The recent 80k mile service is keeping our Civic healthy and safe, and soon the Camry will get a similar treatment. I can't recommend anyone that I feel more confident in than H.A.”

“I came to Pleasant Car Care for a second opinion after being quoted for a very involved repair at the Mercedes dealership in Westwood. Someone recommended Pleasant Car Care to me, and I’m so glad they did. The repair I actually needed was much less extensive—and thousands of dollars less—than what Mercedes told me I had to have done. I don’t know much about cars, so finding a place with integrity that I can genuinely trust is incredibly valuable to me. Watertown isn’t exactly convenient to where I live, but knowing I can bring my car there and work with honest, trustworthy people makes the drive completely worth it. I’m so grateful for the recommendation and will absolutely be going back!”

“I took my car to this shop because my ABS and traction control lights were on - they took a look at it and noticed that my front left strut had broken as well. They physically showed me everything that needed repairs, we set up an appointment, and they fixed everything in one day. They even replaced a bulb that was out and didn't charge for labor. I talked to Will and Miguel and they were both awesome.”

“This is has become my number 1 mechanic shop. I have been there quite a few time recently with my hyundai and they are always super helpful. One of my favorite things about them is they are honest and don't try to upsell you on things you do not need and they have they best prices compared to other mechanics I have reached out to for quotes. Customer for life!!!”

“Really smart, kind and honest mechanic. My mom let her car get into bad shape, and Wesley let me tow it over, he assessed it and gave me a quote, and an honest recommendation that the car was not worth the amount of work it needed. He liaised with the junk yard looking for a door that needed to be replaced, and was overall easy to deal with and totally trustworthy. He made a very stressful event painless. Highly recommend.”

“Called at 4, didn’t know what I needed for brakes, the guys showed me what I needed and promised me it’ll be done for close, I know I was just getting out of work and hanging them a time crunch! But they were so sweet, and very efficient! Thank you all!”

“I’m always satisfied leaving Valvoline and my last visit was great! I went in for an oil change and asked if my transmission fluid could be checked. Isiah got me in and set up in no time, was knowledgeable about the services offered, and handed me off to Kevin for the remainder of the appointment. Kevin was also extremely knowledgeable about the benefits and needs for each service and was great to chat with - he even helped remove an old & expired resident parking permit that had been scratched up from my removal attempt. The price I paid was in perfect alignment with the services completed and I will definitely be coming back in the future. Thanks all!”

“This place is a breath of fresh air. Two visits in the past year with no nonsense, zero attempts to sell me services Ford says aren't necessary, clean facilities, friendly staff, in and out on time. So glad I decided to give these guys a shot after getting worked over multiple times at a big dealer on the south shore.”
