Store is nice but my biggest complain the self checkout kiosks. They are one of the worst I encountered and big reason I avoid stop and shop now.

I have gone here time and time again and in the past 3months the Milk they have has gone bad! I got a new one the other day and that Night it was bad. So I don't know if they are leaving them out too long and putting them on the self! But I will not get my milk her again!

I like the place, that's my number 1 choice for groceries, as it's close to my house. Choose fruits, vegetables, and berries very carefully, I had some bad experiences. I know the customer service works perfectly, but sometimes, I just don't have time for this.

This Stop and Shop is often disappointing and always feels understocked. Sometimes produce section can be literally completely empty. I've had bad enough experiences with the meat where it's gotten bad (really bad smell, frequently) before the expiration date. I suspect they don't store it properly. It's the closest store to where I live, and they've been doing better with their international section, but best for odds and ends in a pinch.

Selection varies between local stores. If it's not in Woburn go to Stoneham, and vice versa. I guess there's different warehouses.

This Stop& Shop is large with a dedicated deli and bakery.. You can scan your purchases as you shop or you can use their self service lanes. For those who prefer a more traditional shopping experience, there are usually 2-3 cashier's. The produce varies. I tend to shop the loss leaders in this store. They have a larger variety than Market Basket but you tend to pay more on each item unless it is on sale. Your overall bill is higher. Their muffins and bagels are overpriced for the quality.

The people working here are lovely. This isn’t about them at all. Your paper bags are absolutely trash. I was literally carrying them with my arm under the bottom and they still ripped to shreds, shattering 2 glass jars in my driveway. So thanks for that

Prices are way too high. Only went cuz of a gift card and even then had to dish out more money. 6 items. Sad.
