Convenient location with a wide variety of food items. We generally go here to drop off our Amazon packages for returns.

This Whole Foods used to be good, but now it is awful! The staff seems stressed, not friendly or helpful (I do not blame them.) My mother struggled with the bread slice machine and had to seek out help. One employee told my mother; "They were not allowed to help costumers anymore," and seemed nervous she would get caught as she helped my mom. The selection of prepared food is meek and unappetising. Lots of bare sections and prepared food that looks old. The shake bar has been replaced with an amazon drop off and pick up. Honestly, the store is not what it was 4 years ago. I figured, it was because Amazon bought the stores and ruined them. That was until I went to the Whole Foods in Newton. The prepared foods were fresh, warm and diverse. I really do not like to leave bad reviews, but I am hoping someone will read this and make changes. Honestly, I have spoken to more the 6 people who have notices the changes and are no longer shopping there. What happened?

The hot bar is the worst in the area. If you are used to a maintained and stocked prepared foods, be prepared to be disappointed. 3pm on a Sunday and it was absolutely terrible. Pans were steaming and hot, but just dry scraps and crusted sauce residue. I came to get a soup on a cold day. Of the 8 soup warmers there were 3 selections. Was surprised to see they were ALL empty too! Asked the deli guy if they are refilling and he was so rude..."NO. Go somewhere else if you don't like" The rest of the store is fine, however, I specifically came for the prepared foods. This literally was a waste of time! Don't send me a link to wfm/help. Just FIX the hot bar and put the rude deli staff man on janitor duty.

Honestly the saddest whole foods. They NEVER have the hot bar, pizza bar, or prepared foods ready and available. Just today I went an there was NO hot soup and only a couple hot meal items. The prepared foods behind the counter at the deli counter were not available and even though there was someone at the pizza station there was no pizza. I showed up at 12:15pm. It's always like this. Honestly, they should do everyone a favor and shut this portion of the store down just to maintain expectations and not give customers consistent false hope.

This Whole Foods saved Thanksgiving. I offered to make an appetizer for my cousin on Monday. My regular market delivered all the ingredients except one. No problem, I still have three days right? Nope every place in my town and neighboring ones was out already on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday I hit the Whole Foods near my work to return my Amazon package, and with hope beyond hope checked the aisle for my elusive appetizer ingredient. They had not only plenty, but different brands thereof. Yay!

Whole Foods used to offer a 10% discount if you bought a case of something, which I used to do for yogurt quarts or canned soups, which had 6 items per case. But I was told they had stopped that some time ago, and it wasn't something I had tried for a few years. Returning Amazon items at this store was very convenient and didn't require me to print any labels - just show a return code on my phone.

The place is huge and there are almost all varieties of cheese you can find on earth. They also have food, soup etc which you can dine in or take out.The place is good. And I find many things costlier than other places. So I would reduce 1 star for it.

I’ve been to a few whole foods markets. The one on the Main Street in Melrose gave me the worst impression. The woman (with grey hair) who picks up the online shopping groceries was very rudely pushed the cart towards me, without pausing to let me pass or express any apology, instead she held the “so what” attitude. When I reported the incidence to the store manager, he had the passive aggressive attitude as well, he obviously did not care how customers felt the shopping experience in the store. The whole experience was really bad, the disrespectful attitude really surprised me. I would not shop in this store ever again.

It’s Whole-mazon. Looks nice, it’s clean and the products are awesome as ever, but you know a soulless algorithm is doing the buying so not everything you need is in stock. And they don’t pay you for checking out your own groceries.
