I have been to this location several times over the last few weeks, as I am in the process of buying a house. Each time I visited, my experience was great. My experience today, however, was exceptional. The manager, Vonmarie, and other staff members went above and beyond to help me today. I couldn’t be more grateful - thank you so much!!

I came to this bank today to cash a check. Im a member (for almost 5 years now) and my customer, who handed me the check, is a member as well. The person who attended me was rude at the begging of the interaction. After hand the check, id and inserting my debit card, she told me I couldn't cash the check cause I only had my first and last name wrote on it (I do have 4 names - two firsts and two lasts, for obvious reasons I inly use one of each for anything, and I never had any problems cashing checks with the exact same first and last names on it at the banks of Franklin, Leominster, Shrewsbury, Acton. So far I have cashed more than 15 checks this last year, without any problems.Well, the person who attended me - A middle 50s woman, probably also immigrant, glasses, redish hair, squared face - told me the bank policy requires my full name on the check. I asked her to show me where in the protocol of the bank that was at, she said don't know where and that I should talk to a manager because she had other people to attend. All this interaction took less than 5minutes.She could have called to the person who wrote the check, she could have asked for other forms of id, she could have been more kind. Nothing of them happened. She didn't know the answer and just denied it for lack of knowledge. The worse bank attendance which I had in my entire life, not only US. After all of this I just know that It's time to change my bank.Edit: I just came to the bank of america in Shrewsbury, and after put my password and debit card the attendance even asked me for a ID, cause that's she knew I am a member. Didn't even mentioned about my full name on check.

The lines are ridiculously long. With only 2 tellers working every single time I come in. It is so disrespective of your clients time. Very frustrating!

STAY FAR AWAY FROM ANY BANK OF AMERICA! And I have my retirement account with Merrill Lynch, I am supposedly a wealth management customer... HA! I'm nothing nobody and BOA does not give a rats behind where my retirement money is! Merrill lynch needs to separate from them or they will soon go down with BOA. When looking to buy my house I was advised by several real estate agents NOT to use BOA as a lender, as they are not a preferred lender and someone with a slightly lower offer would get it based on not having BOA as a lender. I have banked with them over 20 years, and every year I say... I need to get a new bank... now because I was left on hold for 1 hour and 45 minutes, they allowed a zelle transfer of $599 go through, 10 minutes before they picked up. You think the bank could freeze my account before they put me on hold for zelle? I even have messages stating the person would refund my money... of course they are not going to! And BOA nor zelle are doing anything about it! And this is just the latest in the hell I've dealt with while being a loyal customer for over 20 YEARS!!! I beg you, please, there are so many banks out there, even Merrill Lynch is embarrassed to be associated with them. Look around for another bank. THIS TIME I AM!!! Last straw and they do not even care!!! Save yourself the headaches and heartbreaks... go to any other bank!

This is one of the crappiest banks by far. To start there was only one teller while a bunch of other people just walked back-and-forth not doing much of anything. Then they finally had a second teller come up who is so rude and refused to accept my state issued license for ID verification when I have never had issue with my license at any other bank. The lady proceeded to ignore me and not even consult with her manager. Besides all that the bank was filthy and I felt it was extremely disorganized. I will never put any of my money in that sh__ hole.

Consistently one of the worst banks on the planet. Understaffed always no matter what branch. Bad hours. I have to go for a business my company makes deposits for. Unless you might need international banking there is no way you should use this bank.

I have a small business that was badly impacted by the pandemic. When I ran out of money, Bank of America started charging me "low balance" fees. Other local or online banks don't do that, so I opened a new account elsewhere (Capital One, Cornerstone, lots of options). But to complete my move, I have to close my Bank of America account. I went into their branch today. They wouldn't let me close out. I learned they don't allow small businesses to close their account at the teller, over the phone, or online. You must close by appointment. And the next available appointment is 12 days away. If the delay crossed a statement balance (which thankfully it doesn't) I could easily be charged another fee. To try to discourage me from going through with the closure, they said once I close my account, if anyone tries to debit or credit it, they will reopen the account and I will be charged more fees. Also, I will have to schedule _another_ appointment to close it a second time. They're wielding inefficiency as a weapon to keep me hostage. My advice is not to start. Open your accounts at a local bank or online. For instance, I can open and close business escrow accounts at Cornerstone across the street in three minutes. I am giving Bank of America "two stars" instead of "one" because, in light of recent events at Bank of America, I'm just glad this branch didn't try to have me arrested.

There must have been a big change here since these other reviews. This was the best bank experience I have ever had. Someone very kind named Stephanie helped me immediately despite a long teller line. She got me all set for the meeting and new card I needed. She even took the extra time to teach me how to use a digital card at the atm. I was in and out in 10 minutes!

This branch of BOA doesn't have enough tellers. The wait is very long. I don't know if you can make an appointment or not but it would be worth a try. The last thing you want to gear from a teller after standing in line for a half hour is that they can't help you. This is not a bank I would recommend.
