I am very pleased with this bank and cannot believe all these negative reviews. I've had nothing but good service, the employees are all great and I was never charged anything to check my balance on one of their own ATMs. My only complaint is I wish they would go back to opening earlier like when it was Commerce Bank.

I parked in the lot the bank shares with the Goodwill store in a spot clearly marked as Berkshire Bank AND Goodwill parking. When I returned to my car, a bank employee's car was parked directly behind me so I could not get out of the spot. Two employees emerged from the bank, and one got into the car to move it while the other told me I couldn't park there or they would have my car towed. When I asked where that was posted and why there was a sign saying it was shared parking for the bank and the Goodwill, he refused to answer and simply restated that the car would be towed if I ever parked there again.
Look, if it's employee parking, have that clearly posted or leave cones in the spot or something. Don't get mad and threaten to tow someone's car when they park in a spot that's very clearly marked as a shared space for multiple businesses. I'm not a Berkshire Bank customer, but if they treat their customers anywhere close to the way they treat the public, I don't foresee myself ever trusting them with any of my banking needs.

Berkshire Bank is the worst bank I've ever dealt with. They charge you $2.50 to check your balance ar there ATM and do not tell you this when you open account with them. Then want to charge fees on rip of the ever 5 days. CLOSED MY ACCOUNT!

I'm very disappointed in Berkshire bank as a whole but especially the Park Ave in Worcester Branch. I have had multiple accounts with them for years. One day I noticed that my escrow account (the one I have to have for real estate) was closed and is no longer attached to my account on line and on the app. I called the online banking and they told me that because there was no money in it, they closed it. My first issue is that I was not notified. My second issue is how it was handled after that. The person on the phone told me I would need to talk to a branch and connected me to Park Ave. Irina asked me what she can help me with and I specifically asked the first guy to explain so I wouldn't have to. Minor irritation. She told me that she would need to research why the account was closed. I told her I already know why and just need to open a new one and get checks. She told me that I had to come in. I told her that I was too busy and asked her if I can open an account on line, she said yes. She then transferred me to Cal who gave me a hard time and kept telling me to come in. When I asked how to get an account on line, he said he doesn't have the time to sit with me and walk me through the process of setting up an account on line. I said just tell me where to find it. He said the website and then hung up. I could not find it anyways. Poor customer services!!

This is the worst community bank i have ever dealt with. They will triple charge you over draft fees and the when they just decide to let the payment through they will do it and add another over draft fee. This is crazy! Oh and if your atm card go's missing and you need a new one "when they decide to give you a new one they will" this could be up to 90 days! It took them about 87 days before they gave me a new one! If you hate dealing with major issues then do not get an account with this bank. They will screw you till the cows come home! There are too many good banks out there that actually treat their customers with respect and ones that don't try and extort money from you when ever the feel like it.

I noticed the bank was open, and I wanted $5 in change for 5 one dollar bills. The teller wouldn't give it to me because I didn't have an account. That's not going to happen now.
