“This place is run by Marines. Everyone is welcome. There is always something going on and beer is cheap. There is currently a raffle to win $21k! Don't bring your stupid friend. The Marines will have none of that.

Parking: Dirt lot across street

Kid-friendliness: Bar is downstairs; rentable function hall on main floor

“I've had the pleasure of renting the hall on two occasions. Unfortunately it was for Celebration of Life events but the American Legion helped us make things easier on these difficult days. The were so very helpful with my deliveries and made themselves available for anything we may have needed. The bartenders were wonderful also!! They were polite, prompt and compassionate knowing we were mourning. I will continue to rent their hall for any occasion. I recommend them highly. Thank you American Legion Vernon Hill”

“They DO NOT let their clients get high ? ... Omg people get SO JEALOUS...
I'm a recovering addict, & this place SAVED my life. People who do not know about open sky throw shade(talk crap) because they are not like AdCare or are a detox facility. They work with the clients on their levels. I guarantee if I tried to do any type of drugs in front of them(even smoke) they would reschedule and walk out on you. It's inappropriate... Not murder. All of you who don't really know about O.S. Keep sitting up high in your towers while looking down in judgement with fragile minds. I ♥️ OPEN SKY!!! & Thank you so much for your commitment to me!!!”

“Clean facilities! Tiger gave us a wonderful tour of the YWCA and its programs.Although they don’t the largest selection of amenities, what they do have is really well maintained. You can find schedules for the fitness classes, pool times, and basketball court times online. Call the YWCA ahead of time to double check when the courts are available because some of their programming is weather dependent. An important organization and a wonderful addition to the community.”
