After the bank did a hard credit check without permission from me and my wife spoke with the Sr VP of Banking asking if we still wanted to do a mortgage? Are you kidding me?!? Kate Bolte was unprofessional is an understatement, would you like to listen to the voicemail?

Absolutely pissed off at the loan agent who has NO knowledge and ran our credit without approval! Also had no answers for the questions we asked! Thanks now you did a hard credit!!! We are closing all accounts and stopping direct deposit. Thanks for hitting our credit we work very hard for our score! Kate Bolte has little if any knowledge on mortgages.

Been using this bank for past 15 years. Since merging with Spencer Savings Bank and renaming Cornerstone Bank, have seen customer service decline to the point were there is NO customer service. Was insulted by drive thru teller today, told that deposit checks had to be endorsed or written "for deposit only" on reverse side, and then rudely replied to when I replied that I didnt believe that was a requirement to deposit checks. This is first time hearing of this even tho I have deposited my 3 sons checks, into their own accounts, usually after birthdays and holidays, since we started with this bank 15 years ago. Called and talked to customer service manager when returning home. Was told it was a state and federal law that checks be endorsed. While I believe this is correct when CASHING checks, I believe this is incorrect when depositing checks into verifiable accounts, why else would they have a stamp to stamp UN-endorsed checks with " for deposit only" ? Was I miss- informed deliberately to prevent workers having to do simple basic work to reduce customer service entirely? They recently changed their website to a much less user friendly platform, and also closed the only local branch that had reasonable entrance and exit capabilities and kept the 2 local branches open that are almost impossible to enter/exit esp during the morning and evening commutes and even require a police officer presence to allow entrance/exit on the 1 evening they are open late. Can not even imagine what their next customer service elimination might be, seems like all is lost already. Time to look around for a bank that actually believes in the importance of customer service. Sad, look elsewhere for your banking needs, this is not where you want to be.

I just went in today for a loan and the most helpful employee named Nada Kanaan helped me. I really liked that she was very friendly and a people person. She guided me through the steps of the loan, documents needed and also answer my questions In regards to other products and services from the bank, she was very Knowledgeable. Really great customer service and patience when it comes to customers with many questions and doubts. I give this bank and Nada's customer service a FIVE STAR rating.

Just moved to Rutland last month my first experience with Cornerstone was their ATM spitting out five 20$ bills one of which was missing 1/4 of the bill. Went into the branch and they told me they would not accept money for exchange as the bill did not both serial numbers, even though THEY issued it! I went to my bank and they exchanged it for me after I explained the situation. I just received a letter from Cornerstone welcoming me to town. I will gladly continue to drive to Worcester or Holden to access my other banks.

I just started my own company and did a ton of research of local banks for the right bank for my business. After meeting with Andrew I knew this was the right place. It was amazing that they had 0 fees on all of my accounts. The process was so simple and my business feels at home at Cornerstone.

We use Cornerstone Bank for all of our business banking. I love the phone app. We use it for 90% of our check deposits. Andrew Burgoyne, the branch manager is great.

Have been using Cornerstone Bank for several months and customer service has been great. They offer mobile deposit, great online banking and recently even rolled out faceid for mobile login. Andrew the branch manager here has been great.
