I went to home Depot in Minot North Dakota to return a bunch of clear pine boards
After waiting 20 minutes to return them, 37 minutes for the girls to go through all the wood with the receipts to tell me. Can't take it back. Not happy. That was a real surprise not to even get store credit

Ordered a dewalt plunge router with battery. Cost $399.00. Never recieved it the deliverey driver could not find the house . Sent a confirmation photo of the wrong house . After speaking with the store manager hi name is phu I was told after an investigation he would refund so we purchased another after repeatedly speaking with him over a 2 month period and being told a refund is coming . I simply gave up asking . Just keep in mind when ordering deliverey services people doing the work can keep your stuff in the end you can get burned without recourse. We spend 50k a year with home depot . Sorry for the bad review on you personally phu but we took you for a man of your word obviously that was the second mistake

I leave mad every time I come here. If it isn't overpriced, it's out of stock. You can't return anything. Parking lot too small, truck gets dinged up every time. All it's missing is flag themed political signs to be an actual dumpster fire.

I paid 45 bucks for ONE pice of 1/2” plywood, gave them my measurements for them to cut and when I got home one of the pieces were off by 1/2” & the other by 1 1/4”!!!!! I’d understand maybe 1/8th of in but a whole half in plus is just ridiculous. I tried to return them for the correct sizes and they said they don’t take back cut wood even if is was THEIR doing.

As a subcontractor, I've never dealt with a company so bad at their job. Delivery of the wrong materials and damaged materials. Jump through hoops to get a refund (because they won't simply replace the incorrectly delivered materials) and then they try to charge you another delivery fee. Save yourself a headache and delays at the job site and go with Lowes instead.

Brace yourself. What you are about to read is the harrowing story of the most astounding customer service experience of my young life.
It begins with an order placed online for five items too large for me to pick up in store. Delivery by truck was set for four days later.
Delivery day finally comes. My order is delivered while I'm not home. When I check my order status online, it shows as delivered with a photo "proving" my items were delivered. What was dropped off at my house, which has my last name on it on a big sign, was so obviously not my order I couldn't believe it. The last name on the delivered items wasn't even close to my name on the big sign in front of my house. The items delivered were so different from my order that it had to be either pure carelessness or negligence that they were dropped off here.
I call the store and explain that there's been a mistake. "We'll fix it!" the Home Depot call center employee exclaims. A second truck is scheduled to remove the incorrectly delivered items and deliver the ones I ordered. The second truck arrives, removes the incorrect items, and makes another drop off. What's in this second drop off you ask? Three out of five of the items I ordered, a fourth item which is obviously the wrong version of the item I ordered, and no fifth item which is the largest of the entire order. How does this happen? Genuinely not trying to be rude, but can these people even read? You select the right items in the store. You pack the right items under the right name to go to a specific address. Then you drop them off at that address. Pizza guys do this with 99% accuracy day after day. So, pray tell, how has Home Depot possibly fumbled this so badly?
So here I am. With three of five correct items, a wrong fourth item, and no fifth item. I call Home Depot. Again. They explain that even though they've totally bungled my order, the correct items can't be delivered until three days later, but somehow they can take the incorrect fourth item back on a truck the next day. The store says I'll hear back Monday with a plan to rectify the situation. So they send a THIRD truck to my house, without the right fourth item or any of missing item 5. They remove wrong fourth item.
Monday rolls around and I hear back from the store. Oh wait. No I don't. They don't call me on Monday with a plan like they said they would. When I don't hear back by WEDNESDAY I call them to sit on hold and get bounced between store associates for another hour. I get an employee on the phone who says yes, we can have your items out to you today. So she sends a third party vehicle out to make the delivery. The guy arrives with the correct item four and item five. But wait! Did you expect this ordeal to end now? No no. Item 4 is the right version this time, but it's busted. The guy says he saw the busted part before he left the store and that he asked an employee if there were any others he could take. He claims they said that's the last one, so he drove out a busted item to my house for delivery. When I said I didn't want it because I obviously don't want a busted item, he says he can't take it back to the store. I say, fine, if Home Depot can't pull their heads out of their butts for 30 seconds, I'll exchange this item in person myself, even though I ordered delivery for a reason. I call the store that this busted item came from and say "your delivery guy tells me you have no more of these in your store. Your website shows you have five. Put eyes on this item in your store and tell me if it exists there". "Yes!" the employee exclaims after I've been bounced between three different employees and put on hold for half an hour. "We have three of them!" he shouts with glee into the phone.
So here I am, after a week of trying to sort this out, hours on hold with Home Depot call

When you go to purchase an item and they can’t find the price on it, you then find it online, show them only for them to find it in their system $10 more but say they can’t price match their online price and they do that to get you in the store and charge you more 🤦♀️

READ THIS BEFORE YOU ORDER HERE !
What a convoluted place to work with 🤦♂️
Ordered new flooring, they did the measure, they ordered the product, their installer then came to the apartment and stated that the flooring won’t work there
Went back to the store, they had no idea what was going on
Took me 45 mins just to get someone to look it up, still in the process of figuring it out ….
Update:
Come to find out their installers made a mistake and another “inspection” is required
Scheduled the second inspection, and had to drive to the store to pick a new material, then radio silent for 5 days
Called their installers again, they said we need to reach out to Home Depot, and get back to you 🤯
2 months, over 20 phone calls, 5 trips to HomeDepot, finally over
Their installers ACS, were even worse, then they reached out for a survey and when they didn’t like my responses, their manager called ?!
As if I need to waste more time and n this, read your own notes and fix your service man 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

Home depot customers be aware...
I started with HD in Worcester, a kitchen project including Design, Flooring, cabinet installation, countertop and appliances.
We are really repented we started such of important project with Unresponsible company . Project was started late january and today June 22 we still fighting to get this complete. Frustration and stress it s all we got. From poor quality cabinets, missing part, color issues, Flooring issues, house violation, bended counter top, cabinets unfinished and Missing glazing, I think you have achieved A medal for Worst company customer had to deal with. Not a good experience and every customer deserves to know that and avoid paying big Money for Stress.

Home Depot definitely needs to review its staff. In all stores, without exception, they have ignorant employees who barely respond when you need help in the store. and when someone helps, it is with unwillingness and laziness.
