Vision plan does not cover Ophthalmology visits, some people need to see the specialist.

This site MassHealth plus the health connector has probably caused more health issues and problems than they've solved these sites cause stress heart problems heart attacks high blood pressure anxiety it's the worst and most horrible sight ever trying to log on to your account and seeing information is virtually impossible I hate this I hate the fact that I'm forced to use this it's probably caused more suicides than anything else, as a working father with two sons one being autistic I have to lose days of work just to straighten things out.

They said I had until October 1st to make my first payment so I could get my health insurance card. I get a letter in the mail a week after I sent my payment about my payment (which I sent on 09/15) When I call to see if it was processed they said I mailed my money order to the wrong place and that I wasn’t the only one that day that called about it! If they know people are mailing it to the wrong place they should be doing something to avoid that issue. They told me I’d be late on my payment. I did not have an extra 106$ laying around so could not. And their walk in center I sent the money order to, kept that money! And I’m supposed to do the process ALL over again. Fu€k that!

My experience with the Health Connector is that they are less about connecting people with insurance and more about barring people from accessing it and punishing them for failing to navigate a complex system. Cancelling coverage for tens of thousands of people for flimsy bureaucratic reasons is heartless. This purge was carried out in June of 2023. It was punative and brutal and providing people with no appeal process for this purge or timely pathway back to re-instatement leaves people in situations where they are told they have to wait till Nov. to re-enroll, thus pushing the date out where they can access medical care to close to six months. Thanks for nothing, MA Health Connector. Shame on you.

Zero stars. I was told by a provider that having the Connector plan is a "Red Flag" and literally anything is better - including Mass Health. Website is a joke. I'm now paying incredibly exorbitant copays, and getting questions answered is impossible because the (very polite and professional) workers who answer the phone say their websites aren't working. My health insurance coverage is inconsistent and full of "surprises". Even when enrolled I can't get answered on whether or not my proceeds / hospital is listed. This is beyond terrible.

Horrible place i applied or tried to apply. I got 185 calls within a few hours span. They continuely call and call and call attempting to get me to pay over 300$ a month for health care in which, who can afford that. They are scamers. I made an account someone is going into and changing things also they locked me out of my account. People are so creepy and weird.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Save yourself the headache and time, go with another company. I had to put in 4 claims before I was able to get a call back from someone in billing. Even when I spoke to billing, they tried to tell me that I owed over $700 even though they verified that their records showed I paid. They couldn't enter any information correctly. My start date was wrong, my phone number was wrong, I somehow had two accounts/profiles, and my end date was wrong. I when cancelled my account because I did not want to continue with them, they canceled my insurance completely and tried to tell me I was never enrolled or paid. This was the worst experience I have ever had.

If I could give zero stars I would. This has to be the most incompetent, inept and clueless agency I’ve ever experienced. They terminated my health insurance over a proof of residency that I submitted 3 months prior and then had the nerve to tell me they contacted me to tell me 3 months ago that my proof of residency wasn’t accepted. When I told them I haven’t received any of their calls they said they called and left a voicemail on a phone number that’s not even mine. I am now without health insurance this month because of their ignorance. A supervisor told me they can’t retro my coverage but she did everything she could. Absolutely pathetic. They should retro themselves to an unemployment office because that’s where they belong. Avoid this agency at all costs

I recently moved from PA, and started a new job in November 2022. I applied for health insurance through the Connector, and I was immediately declined, saying "Their records show I'm not a resident of MA". I called customer service and they had no answers, there wasn't even a prompt saying to upload documents proving residency.I keep calling, because all they could tell me was that I wasn't a resident of MA. They referred me to MassHealth, so see if I had a hold on my account (I didn't). They told me to fill out and Affidavit of Residency and submit documents proving my residency (I did), and still no word.I finally realized that I had Medicaid in PA that I never officially cancelled after I moved. After a few weeks of trying to get a hold of people there, I finally got it cancelled, yet I STILL haven't heard from Health Connector. This is why people are saying "Medicare for All", because state and federal agencies are completely INEPT at handling these situations. How could the Health Connector not say, "You're ineligible because our record show you have active health insurance in PA. Please call to cancel with them, or we will unenroll you with them." How can agencies not communicate that to one another. It's pretty disgusting.

Madaleni is the best. She helped me renewed my health insurance. If you go to office they definitely help you. I don’t believe now in bad reviews.

Adding one more star to the ether. Somebody needs to be arrested for this scam. I (and it seems like thousands more!) had no health insurance for about 6 months, without knowing, despite my payments going through. And when I called to get it sorted, they told me someone from bookkeeping would get in touch with me about a refund. That never happened, and getting hold of someone for any specific problem is certifiably impossible with this agency. And when I removed my bank info from the health connector site, I continued to get monthly bills for the service I was absolutely not enrolled in. Can't wait for the class action lawsuit.

Tried signing up when I was in between jobs and it was a nightmare. After multiple hours of trying to figure it out I finally gave up halfway through and decided to look elsewhere. Now I get about 50 phone calls a day from companies trying to offer me health insurance, apparently they give your number out to multiple different insurers so they can fight over who gets your policy. They all promise to stop calling and then call again an hour later, one guy actually told me he was going to continue calling me 10 times a day and laughed about it. I have a friend that successfully obtained insurance from the mass health connector and barely any doctors want to accept it. I highly recommend not wasting your time unless you enjoy stress, harassment and sub par healthcare.

Today I went to this location because I was tired of calling HealthConnector and they wouldn't help me with anything. The woman who helped me (unfortunately I didn't ask her name) but I want to say how wonderful she was. She helped me like no one else did, and an excellent treatment! Thank you so much, you have no idea how much you helped me.

Everyone was very patient and helped me get enrolled in a plan. It was very easy, she made sure to go over everything with me before I left.
