I work the overnight from midnight to 8 AM. I had an appointment scheduled three days in advance to get my car looked at. I got out of work to head to this location for my appointment. I check in. I take a seat and after a couple minutes, I’m being told that unfortunately my car can’t be looked at because the lift isn’t working, which I’m a very understanding person. I get that things happen, but I find it very unprofessional of the business to not have given me a courtesy call before me showing up. They had a whole hour prior to me showing up to figure that out, and then let anybody who had an appointment know so they didn’t waste their time. And as somebody who works part-time for AutoZone and has made multiple deliveries to this shop, From the things I’ve heard I’m not too Surprised. They did give me the option Of leaving my car there or just receiving a call when the Lift is operating as it should, but nonetheless, that doesn’t negate the fact that I should’ve received a call prior to my appointment to be informed of this. Things happen, but how those things get handled Can make all the difference. I don’t have the option to leave my vehicle nor do I have the time in my schedule to sit and twiddle my fingers and wait on their call. I already waited for my appointment. I would’ve been okay rescheduling if they called me prior to my arrival but they neglected to do that.
As someone who has delivered parts to shops all around the city, I would recommend just taking your car to Alpha auto center right next-door. They’ll take care of you there. I only went to McFee because I’ve been a customer in the past and never had any issues. Drove right over to Jose at Alpha and will be handling my business with him moving forward.

This garage is friendly and cooperative. I had a same day oil change and was able to schdule my repairs for the very next week. The repairs were well done and my car was returned in a prompt manner. They will be my mechanic of choice going forward!

I work for a part store in Worcester so I know all the mechanics let me tell you guys who to go to MCFEE AUTO. They really care for their customers, they won’t over charge. Great staff from people in the office to the mechanic them self. Only mechanic I will go to in the Worcester area ! THANK YOU MCFEE

They are horrible. My car sat down on mcfeess lot for a week. They finally installed a wheel bearing on Friday afternoon. I got the car back and couldn't even drive it on the highway loud noise rattling. My car was WORSE than it was before I brought it there. I had to bring it bsck Monday morning because my car was unsafe , well they had to replace the wheel bearing as the one they put in was no good or not put in correctly.
They have gone downhill 100 percent!! I don't think my car should have sat down there for a week and the job WASN'T DONE CORRECTLY. They ended up fixing it again for the 2nd time free of charge
which they should !!!They caused a massive inconvenience for me and released an unsafe vehicle when I paid alot of money to have it fixed.
BEWARE OF MCFEE AUTO.
