Very nice guy, but the service was bad. My 2012 Hyundai Elantra has been stalling, shutting off while driving, and having trouble accelerating.
I went to Sam for an oil change and told him about the issues. He ran a diagnostic, cleared the codes, and said to come back if the problems continued.
Two days later, the same problems came back, so I went back a second time. He charged me $100 and said it was fixed.
But just a few days after that, my car shut down on me in the middle of the road. The stalling and acceleration issues continued.
I went back a third time, and now he says I need a crankshaft replacement for $175 plus $150 labor.
I’m already frustrated because I came to him last week for the same issue and he said he fixed it. So why is the problem continuing? Why am I having to bring my car back a third time for the same issue? What was I paying him for?

Don’t waste your money going here. Sam the owner is not a true auto technician. Claimed he has 30 years. His diagnosis skills are poor and will only make you waste your money and time. Left me with an unsafe car to drive after he had me replace front tires, 1 tire had a wall patch I agreed to change. I got car back and found patched tire on the rear now. He made the call and never asked me. I guess he does what he wants or maybe he doesn’t have a clue. Either way bad service and waste of money. Highly recommend taking your car else where.

I've bought 3 cars from Sam over the years. One for my wife , and two for myself. Sam always stood by them and would constantly go out if his way to ensure we were satisfied. He's become our trusted mechanic and we would highly recommend him.

This guy must find cars that are deemed totaled at the junk yard and then tries to sell them. He sells cars with rod knock and other issues you didn’t event know existed

I bought a 2009 subaru outback from Sam for my son to drive to Colorado He guaranteed the car. "I would let my daughter drive this car accross country", he said and I trusted him. This car almost killed us when the engine blew less than a week after buying it. We were stranded in Indiana( over 2000$ in hotel, rental car, air fare for my son to CO, 2 different mechanics for diagnostics. The first one said it would be 9000 $ to switch the engine the second said it wasn't worth it, to junk it but anyways he would switch I dor 5000$). Sam then agreed to return the money if the car was sent to him and instead after transporting the car (1200$) back to Massachusetts decided to switch the engine disregarding that the car was no longer where it should be hence was useless. By the lemon law he has the right to do so. He placed the cheapest engine he found that leaked and had to be repaired by other mechanic within 3 days. After a few more days the car started shaking and required a new repair for 500$. Within a week of him returning the car I had to pay another 1200$. A car that was supposed to be a good strong old car became a nightmare. He could've repair the car well and sell it again with a clean conscience instead he chose to scam me. He didnt pay for any of the enormous expenses he causeed with his negligence . The car costed double of what originally was paid for. This guy takes advantage of hard working people trying to get a reliable car. He doesn't care of others people safety and won't take responsibility. Don't fall for it. Save money by buying from anyone else.

Sam is the average sleazy car salesman. Sold me a car that he guaranteed was in great condition, engine started smoking and car broke down and was totaled 2 days later, he offered little to no help to me or my poor mother who put her faith in him since he was friendly to her after, he took advantage of the situation and foisted a near ruined car onto us without regret.
