Grafton true value is not your typical local hardware store. I'm always impressed with them. As a Plumber (Wachusett Plumbing) I'm usually one to skip past small hardware stores because they tend to not have what I need to finish a job.
Three big things:
They know exactly what I'm talking about and what I'm looking for, which isn't the case at most other places.
When you walk in, they immediately ask you what you need and bring you directly to the exact isle and hook.
When you need something a little peculiar, they may not have that specific oddity, but they'll know with about what you need and what they carry to get your job done.
They're just great.
They're right on Hamilton Street which is also convenient.

Great hardware store in Worcester! Variety of stock from gardening to paint to general house maintenance tools. They even cut the wood to the measurements I needed and the staff was very kind and inviting! Prices are actually reasonable which supports DIY budget projects, I will be going back to here over Lowe’s on Lincoln street from now on!

This is the best little hardware store in Worcester. The folks there are knowledgable and helpful, and it's amazing how much they're able to fit into the space. Good prices, good service, and it keeps the money in the community. What's not to love?

I grew up right on Dartmouth St. I've been going into this store since I was a kid. I love the people that work there. I believe its a family run and I support that more then anyone. There a hidden gem! They always have what I need no matter the odd request, lol. I love that they still make Keys by hand!!!! that make the best keys. Hate those key machines, ugh. Also if you need help to your car there are true gentlemen working there! they always help. Thank you Staff and owners for being so reliable for over 30 years of my life <3
