Sometimes, it's the first ones you seek which are the best - you get BLESSED. (I don't believe in luck!) It was a good discussion with the person with whom I spoke, explaining how they work. It was as he said. Our move from MA to TX seemed ominous, though it wasn't a full household, I (under) estimated the amount of Rubbermaid/Sterilite boxes and odd furniture, thinking maybe I wouldn't need 2 cubes. It became evident when we loaded 96 some boxes and misc items in Cube #1, that Cube #2 was going to be necessary.I was informed my cubes would arrive the scheduled Mar 4, and they did. It was a good thing I DID have help loading, amazing help and we completed the loading, with only a few extra items to be added along the way and at the end.The Cubes were definitely solid and workable, though one of the 4 door latches wouldn't drop down (or be forced down) into the slot securely, but I was able to lock the opposite door of the cube. (It arrived securely, though I wasn't even able to secure the latch on that door with the cube empty).I had to depart MA for TX Mar 6, and the cubes were supposed to be picked up that day. They were. (Picture below.)I was informed about every new location at the end of the day. They arrived on schedule, and I contacted the locale, why I had to wait a week and it was their schedule, that they didn't drive to the final destination except on Thursdays, WHICH THEY DID.My friends and I emptied the cubes the next day. I called to have the cubes picked up, which was supposed to have been Monday, Mar 25, but a flat bed maintenance issue prevented them being picked up then. (This would have been great had I needed the extra time, which they were going to give me anyway.) At this writing, the cubes still haven't been picked up (ETA today, Mar 28).The boxes were stacked 6 high and some of the boxes and lids were damaged, but the contents were not, except for a few lightbulbs in one of the boxes, but most of them survived, despite the appearance of some smashed boxes. Nearly all of the RUBBERMAID boxes survived the trip and the weight of the other boxes on them. (Good learning experience on packing). Wasn't the fault of UPACK, just my inexperience with such. But EVERYTHING up to this point was JUST AS THEY TOLD ME. The price was as quoted with no extra fees. I'm so pleased with them and have already recommended their services to others - the ones who helped me. THEY were impressed too.

I shopped around quite a bit and found AFB U-Pack to be highly recommended and the best price of any pod-type delivery companies. Before the move they were instrumental in helping me figure out the scheduling of our long distance move. I had the dimensions of the cube, and a pile of boxes that I thought would fill the cube. When it was delivered it looked smaller than I anticipated. BOY WAS I WRONG! We loaded our huge pile of belongings and it was only half full! Since it was only a partial preliminary move we were able to add more items to the cube and bring much more. (It ended up holding about 50 boxes, mostly banana boxes, 12" x 12" x12" cube boxes, some small furniture, a portable chiropractic table, a massage table, 3 folding tables, 8 folding chairs as well as quite a few art prints) Both the drivers who dropped off the cube and the one who delivered the cube were experts with the forklift. They took extra care in the placement and removal. They were personable and professional. once we emptied it, I went online to request a pickup. They came promptly the next day and retrieved it. Not one thing arrived broken or damaged though there was plenty of china, glassware and large picture frames with glass.. (I am an excellent packer so I'll take partial credit for that.) Everything was done in a timely manner with no delays or surprises. When we complete the move in the near future we will definitely book another cube with U-Pack from ABF Freight.

I was intentionally over charged for square footage used via a shared trailer. I called and the representative corrected it and also admitted it was another employee's error. Overall, not bad. My items arrived on-time and undamaged.

Hired UPack when we moved our home from Canada to US. Very professional and efficient operating business. Handled all the documents and paperwork electronically including paperwork for crossing the border. And responding to phone calls timely. Recommend to anyone moving home cross the U.S. Canada boarder.

We have moved our 3BR household across the country twice using U-Pack. It's easier to keep up with the shipment on the web now, and the centers are good about calling before you call them for delivery. These are good value services (9 days from coast to coast). The space estimate was right on the money. Our only complaint in our most recent move was that the trailer should have been swept out. There was quite a bit of dust and dirt that we had to contend with. The drivers are skilled and helpful.

This is my 2nd time using U-Pack and highly recommend. The most recent time I used them it was for a move from Houston to Boston using a relo-cube for a 1 bedroom. Both the pickup and drop-off guys were super nice and helpful. The text message updates were great and included links to your dashboard and to pay (making it really easy). The cube arrived within the time estimate set.

Used a U-Pack 27' trailer to move from New England to the Southwest -- overall generally pleased, except for small roof leak in trailer that fortunately we found and fixed day of move. (We spent 20 years in military, so very familiar with moving, though had never used U-Pack; also we were moving our stuff from three different storage units vs. moving from a house, so stuff was already packed) The trailer roof had been patched with a new metal piece that apparently was well-caulked and riveted-down, except for one of the rivets that had popped-out leaving a small hole through which there was a steady water drip that we only discovered because it happened to be raining the a.m. our loaders were scheduled to come. Fortunately, the loaders had a step-ladder and spray they they were kind enough to apply that seemed to fix it (we saw no water damage to our stuff on other end). On good side: great communications both on phone and online; very easy to schedule, easy drop-off and pickup; professional, competent, customer-oriented people (drivers included); competitve pricing; cross-country delivery faster than estimated (apparently trailer was loaded on train at some point according to U-Pack customer service rep I spoke w by phone). Would we go that route again or recommend to others? Depends on how much stuff and how heavy...we used MovingStaffers to load (nice guys, but not the best movers -- left way too many pieces unwrapped, wood-on-wood so finished got rubbed-off, put as many heavy items up high as they did down low so a number of boxes and plastic bins got crushed, etc.; I should have micro-managed them...) -- our MovingStaffer "unloaders" by contrast were top notch! All that said, for our situation, going ABF / U-Pack / MovingStaffers worked well overall.

Such a great moving experience! They showed up, I filled the truck, they took it away, and I got it back at my new place. Super easy, all the staff was awesome, and way more affordable and easier than a pod or a uhaul

U-Pack made our move from NC to MA easy. Everything arrived as scheduled and we had 3 days to pack and 3 days to unload. Nothing was damaged during transit (I tied things together well using ropes and the very strong rope holds on the walls of the packs). Delivery and contact people were all very friendly and willing to work with my schedule. 2 packs worked great for our two bedroom townhouse. Much cheaper than alternative companies. Would move with U-Pack again!

Incredible service, convenient and easy and reasonable price. Just need to call them to schedule delivery and pick up . With my destination local store in CA, I scheduled delivery in the morning and pick up in the afternoon, they did it in the same day , so great! I like the moving way with U-Pack . Highly recommend.

I was skeptical at first but the cost compared with the big name rental truck companies made it worth a try. I highly recommend U-Pack for long distance moves. It was equal to or cheaper than rental trucks and I didn't have to drive the truck, pay for gas or tolls. I paid the extra for a guaranteed delivery date and it came on that date. I had several days to load the truck and was allocated several days to unload. Tracking system was nice. Drivers were friendly and professional. I went three feet over my estimate and they just charged the extra feet at a reasonable rate. We moved from Massachusetts to South Carolina without any issue. I highly recommend U-Pack.
