If you are looking for a place to swim on a regular basis, go somewhere else. The pool is regularly closed for days, weeks, or months at a time for "maintenance".

Have been a member for a while, Used to swim every day... until the pool ubruptly closed. As in we were swimming and got kicked out. The front desk lady accidentally said something about it being mold. She quickly recanted and said it was a pump issue. I'm going to assume it is in fact a mold issue, I do not appreciate being lied to.

5 stars for the YWCA 0 stars for Sheemeka Wilson who never gets back to me about housing no matter how many calls and messages I leave. I guess she doesnt like Irish Americans, getting completely ignored.

It should be the best place to leave your child but unfortunately it is not. We had a really bad experience with them. Our daughter had several accidents there and the last one was the worst she hurts her neck and both of side on her head. They have in the classroom a bathroom WITH NO door, a really dangerous space with a wet floor, toilet and sink, with just a little gate that any kid are able to push it in. Unfortunately our daughter fell on the bath floor with her head directly on the floor. Totally unwise by professionals. We tried to talk to them to fix it but they called back us informing they would provide another little gate to replace that one. Safer would be to instal a real half door right. But we just take out our daughter from there before anything worst happens. If you will choose this place to leave you child pay attention on everything especially on the professionals all of them.

Decent place. Facilities need major upgrades, however, especially for what you'd pay for in a membership.

I took my daughter to swim lessons at the YWCA when she was 18-24 months old, and she did swim lessons again there at 7 years old. Both times she loved it & I was pleased with the reasonable price.

If you're a young woman looking for a place to live because of a situation or unfortunate circumstances DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE TO THE YWCA they will not help you with any resources at all their only concern is their money that's it. There are a lot of drugs addicts and alcoholics here so if you're a young professionals or student don't do it. People here steal peoples stuff out of the fridge they were infected with bed bugs the direction is racist and very rude and the replacement that goes by the name JESSICA is very disrespectful. Eliminating racism shouldn't be their logo. You're better off finding a room to rent and every December the rent goes up you're paying almost $500 to go by someone else's rules. They treat their white Hispanic extremely different from their black residents. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
