Old Worthington country store. Still the same. Bought some wine there. No maple syrup though. Good drive at the end of fall to western Mass.

Zero stars an option??Worthington is one of the most lovely, wonderful communities in New England. Just ask Aaron Lewis! But don’t try talking to the miserable hag behind the counter. She must feed off of uncomfortable situations and disappointment. Some people need to bring people down to boost themselves up.... but darn that hasn’t worked for her either. I’ve never met a grown woman who’d audibly scowl at people. I hope she doesn’t bite.

The middle age woman, with grey hair that is working today is the most miserable person I have ever encountered in my life, my wife and I have had problems with this person for the past few years. My wife has refused to go back to the store so she doesn't have to deal with her. Now the store has lost my business. I see we are not the only people that have had problems with this woman. It is appauling that she still has a job.

The woman working behind the counter was probably the most rude and disrespectful person I have ever met. She scowled at my "good morning" refused any of my small talk, and even threw the plastic bag at me after ringing up my order. 40 dollars for a few coffees, and pancake mix is one thing, but a miserable mean person out to ruin your entire day has no place working with the public....especially in such an amazing town like Worthington.

The lady currently working at the general store is so rude. If you are going to be this rude than don’t work for the public. Simple.

It's very convenient if you have forgotten anything while grocery shopping in the larger communities. They have most essentials, including alcohol and the prices are fairly reasonable. We were camping in the area and we decided to stop in and check it out on our way home and it wasn't too bad. Mind you, the parking is a little tricky there, it's on the corner of Rte. 143 and it also looks like the post office is attached to the same building.

Theres a middle aged lady that works here and is always rude to costumers. This morning she told my boyfriend to shut up after he asked why his card declined she then called him a thief after she forgot to scan something. She is always giving dirty looks and has something negative to say.

This place has the best samosas around. They dont have a great selection in store but the owner as a very sweet lady who makes some tasty snacks the sonos alone are worth 5 stars

The new owners are much nicer. That past owner was awful! I wish they would stock Coca-Cola instead of Pepsi, personal preference, way back (5 years or so) they sold gas. Please go back to that! I was told it's too expensive to have it brought here (by former owner), but she refused to pay for anything. The gasoline trucks have to go through Worthington to get to Dalton, Pittsfield, etc. If they don't go route 143, and take Route 8, why would it be any more expensive to take an alternative route, it saves time this way, and has less mileage!? It would help an entire community.

Great little store. Perfect stop on a bike ride.
