Had dinner and a comedy show last night. Food was outstanding. The bartender made the best old fashioned. Laughed my butt off. If you haven't discovered this place yet, you should defiantly go and see for yourself. We will be back!

The Tavern!!! How is it so good!? This place is a destination. Everything is wildly delicious and soooooo many gluten-free options! I’m already trying to come up with some reason to host an event here. I love it so much.

An amazingly special place. The food is delicious -- I had the meatloaf sandwich with mash potatoes, mmmmm mmmmm. Really awesome drinks too -- I had the spicy mezcal drink "Judy needs dental surgery," and peroused their awesome selection of beers and wines. Events are so fun and unique. Excellent hosts. Beautiful scenery and decor.

Every question I had was answered nearly immediately. Everything was as advertised or better and Eric couldn’t have done anything more to ensure our stay was perfect. Quick reservations, human interaction, easy process without delay or confusion made our stay excellent. We don’t stay at BnBs often but The Goldenrod represented the genre well - we can’t wait to come back. Thanks Eric!

We had dinner there Friday night and listened to the Poor Monroe bluegrass concert. There were 4 of us and our meals were all fantastic! Our only disappointment was the lack of dessert options, we would have loved to have desserts of a comparable quality to our meal selections so we could have lingered longer with tea and coffee and our friends while listening to the awesome music. I hope that addition is coming soon! Special thanks for having such great GF options

Very nice, comfortable rooms in a quiet town with farms nearby. Tavern serves delicious food and the inn keepers are very friendly and attentive to guests. They also serve a nice breakfast with scones, quiche, and other items.

Had the pleasure of spending the weekend here while attending a family event nearby. It was an absolute joy. I grew up in the area and had forgotten how beautiful it is. E & A were beyond accommodating and the staff was spot on. Hanna, best of luck on your new adventure.Noteworthy details: Just up the road from the GCI, at the Route 9 rotary, is the circa 1805, Jonathan Woodbridge House. Once home to William Cullen Bryant. Last time I saw it back in 1978 it was abandoned. It was restored in 1990 and is now a beautiful private residence [I think].

Our weekend stay was amazing! Eric and Aaron were welcoming and attentive hosts and made an amazing veggie frittata and home made scones for breakfast each morning and the we also had dinner in the Tavern both night and had 2 amazing meals, one to live music! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the fresh baked cookies on Friday afternoon as a welcome were a very nice touch. We went on 2 nearby hikes to waterfalls and enjoyed the natural beauty of the area. It will definitely be on our list for a return visit!

My husband and I had looked forward to our visit to Worthington as it held some of our favorite places - Sena Farm Brewery, a great 9-hole golf course and the restaurant that used to be housed at the inn. When we arrived around 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon, we were told that our room was not ready and to wait upstairs because they were getting ready for dinner. We found Aaron upstairs, who very nicely told us our room was almost ready. We didn’t have to wait long. Fast forward to Monday morning. We planned our morning around the breakfast that was to be served at 9:00. We are early risers, so we went for a hike at Chesterfield Gorge. When it was 9:00, we went to the dining room expecting to find a sumptuous “B & B” breakfast. We were told that breakfast was upstairs in the common room. We found a couple single-serve containers of yogurt and cereal. We were very disappointed and hungry! We quickly checked out to find some real food!

Eric and Aaron are the best! We love dinner and drinks at the tavern! Every dish we’ve tried has been absolutely delicious and the cocktails are also wonderfully inventive and right up our alley. I deeply appreciate owners and chefs who keep some dishes consistent and also change parts of the menu seasonally! Wonderful job finding that balance. Last but not least, the service is wonderful. We love Maya and the whole crew. Can’t wait to get back up there soon!

Great atmosphere, several seating options. Nice addition to the sparse Hilltown restaurant scene. The branzini was excellent, the homemade fries were awesome. Unfortunately, Penne Pomodoro was basically a bowl of spaghetti, so skip that. Only one server, but seemed like sufficient support to get drinks and food out by others. A bit pricey, but what isn't these days
