Called the day before letting them know my alternator had failed which was still under warranty. I was told to bring in the defective alternator so they could test it. I checked with them to make sure they had a replacement alternator I could switch it out for. I brought my defective alternator in to be tested and extanged. No one there knew how to test the alternator and I was told they would not be able to give me a new one. After waiting 25 minutes watching two men trying to figure out how to attach the alternator to the testing device and failing to do so I had to argue my case to get a replacement alternator which I already had tested. I got my replacement alternator. They also tried to charge me for a battery installation kit that I never asked for. Don't shop here please.

What a life saver !!! The guy there this morning was nothing short of amazing. He knew exactly how to fix it so my battery would hook up right. I spoke to a few auto shops and even my uncle who knows a lot about cars and none of them knew. This guy at the store who grew up upstate NY instantly knew how to amazingly easily fix the problem. I will never forget this. THANK YOU ☺️

Got a shit ton of attitude in the first 10 seconds of a call for just asking if i would need to schedule anything in order to get my vehicle looked over because of an engine light being on ill go somewhere else 🤨man just looking over these comments it looks like this auto zone needs to hit REFRESH on their entire staff sounds like its run by a bunch of dickheads

I went to Autozone to purchase wire cutters and tuck tape due to an unfortunate accident I had that damaged my entire right passenger side of my car .
Deanna the staff member and Stan were amazing. I informed them why I needed these items and they went above and beyond to assist me.
Their kindness knowledge and attention to my car matter was amazing
I’d like to acknowledge both of them on this platform and greatly thank them and recommend this store location

I came in today with my mom to grab some thing for her car we weren’t exactly sure what we needed but we asked Keegan at the register iv know him a while he was very helpful and educated and explained to us what to buy and how to use it very well we will definitely be coming back

Underwhelmed with the customer service today. This morning I went in to purchase low beam headlights for my car. I proceeded to give the employee whose badge said “assistant manager” the information for my car (year make model and version) and he handed me the bulbs his computer told him I needed. I went back to the house to put the new bulbs in and noticed they were not the same model and make as the old bulbs in the car. I returned to the store later that day to exchange them for the accurate bulbs and brought in the burnt bulb to confirm it was the right one. I showed him the bulb and he said “you don’t know what you’re doing, this is a high beam bulb, that’s not what you told me you needed” I explained to him that this was the bulb I needed, and this was the burnt out one. His reply was “you don’t know what you’re doing I don’t know what to tell you kid”. I was appalled being a 32 year old woman, and walked out of the store. Outside, while I was confirming these were the wrong bulbs, and employee stood on the sidewalk and yelled “you sure they don’t fit?” And I replied, “No, they don’t fit!” I took my business to Napa auto who immediately provided me with the bulb I needed, in their first search, I returned home, and replaced the bulbs, and imagine- the low beam headlights turned on. Turns out I DO know what I’m doing, and that also includes not returning to auto zone this store again.

I would like to shout out Neal @ Yarmouth personally! He helped my sister and I when our car broke down and was so polite and kind! He went above and beyond to make sure we could get home safely! He truly is the sweetest person I have ever met and I’m 100% confident I will met him in heaven!!! He makes you believe that there is still good in the world and makes you want to be the good. We tried to give him a tip but he refused and just said “That’s what us old people are here to do, help the young people. Just when you’re old one day pay it forward.” I love you Neal!! Thank you for everything <333

I went to Autozone is Sourh Yarmouth the other day to get a new battery. I asked an employee if they could put it in for me and was told NO. Then, one of the employees that was busy working on something else came up to me and told me they would be happy to put it in for me. I am a 66 year old woman who could not have done this myself. Chris S, the employee who put my battery in also ran a diagnostic test on my car to make sure everything was running smoothly AND fixed my windshield wiper that was put on backwards. I cannot thank him enough for taking the time to help me and being so pleasant while doing so. Thank you Chris. You are an asset to Autozone and they should feel very lucky to have you!
